Ok so i had a thread before, but that was years ago. I am drawing again and i tried to dig up my previous thread (couldn't find it easily). So i thought i would just make a new one. My art is different now anyway.
Here is a piece i plan to hang in a gallery. I am not that good of an artist (i am traditional not digital). Hope you like my work though, critiques and comments always welcome.

Traditional is good and all, but unless you have materials to paint traditionally, you will someday try to paint something.
And digital is an easier alternative with tons of...shortcuts. (implying you have a drawing tablet)

Yea ive tried digital art. Traditional just feels more enjoyable for me.
slow down a bit. take your time to analyze whatever it is you're drawing and make every line count. these are pretty good but they seem a bit rushed

I don't need to slow down my technique isn't the focus here.

well by "critiques and comments always welcome" i thought you meant that critiques and comments are actually welcome sry
I don't have to agree to your comments and critiques. The purpose of these exercises are different than what you were saying. My technique is good enough, my shapes and understanding of other things is very poor. So I need to ignore improving my own technique and draw draw draw draw draw. You can comment and critique all you want. That doesn't mean I have to listen or actually apply your critique (as an artist) your supposed to take critiques with a grain of salt and move in the direction (you want to). It is personal, and indeed my own. Nothing is wrong with that and nothing should be. Right now im just doing basic shape studies and getting back into drawing daily. I will eventually do more complex detailed work but for now, I just need to draw daily.
I only said what I said because I thought you didn't know the purpose of my drawings. A sketchbook isn't supposed to look like a final product.
