Same here, but I don't think the bill was paid for it this month. Only thing I watch on live TV these days is sports.

Hasn't this sort of thing happened with Dish before? I seem to remember them being in dispute with several channels like 2 years or so ago. I think I even remember that serious sounding voice over guy on AMC who goes like "last tiiiime on the Walking Deeeeaad" saying for a very brief time "AMC... nooot available on Diiish".

Doesn't affect me, I don't have cable. I just watch most things on Netflix. Still, that sucks for whoever this affects.

It's a good thing that I have Verizon FiOS because I actually like having Boomerang on television. Cartoon Network is not one of my networks that I watch nowadays.

Yeah I never got the whole "I'm on the internet but I'm going to tell you to go outside, look how holy I am" argument.

These are the kind of things that are largely petty on both sides, and they for the most part generally get it resolved pretty quickly due to consumer pressure and they don't want to be the only ones who have a popular channel blacked out. Say what you will about the quality of Cartoon Network/Adult Swim, but a lot of people still watch that channel even if they are only there for one thing. (Not like they can't get it anywhere else, but still.)
At the end of the day, it's about the $$$, but I'm sure that trying to piss off their customers, even unintentionally, is not a wise marketing move, and neither the networks themselves or the cable/sattellite companies can afford to do that. (Unless you're Comcast, where you don't even try) especially with Netflix, Hulu and the Internet growing in popularity for watching shows.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

Yeah, happens a lot to satellite providers. The channels are only gone for a week or two before the two parties negotiate a new deal.

It always seems that dish or directv are the ones who cut channels, while cable seems to do just fine. I don't remember any time when Charter put a channel.
