Have some sad news today, Panda just announced that Jude Momani, known as CheeseCakeLOL here on NG, has passed away. Jude worked with Panda and KimoLemonHead on coloring and shading for his Cold Read stories in StoryShift.

Jude also provided additional art and animation for a number of movies:

Jude's time with NG was less than a year but she had already made some great friends and left her mark. She will be remembered and missed.

I send my sincere condolences to her family and loved ones. Though I've never been acquainted with her, I think her contributions to Newgrounds will be well remembered and it's a shame she left us so early.

RIP Jude. :( I remember scouting her for the art portal soon after that Misunderstanding animation came out. She seemed like a pretty fun person, happy and natively creative. Wonder how she died? This feels unreal.

I feel like it's incredible eerie to go see a userpage of a user who died.
Their text, emotes and feelings give away quite a lot of personality, and it feels like they're there, beaming that message all the time until it changes to something else. And then you think they're dead.

Piconjo should also be added. Apparently he died on June 12, 2005 after a failed kidney transplant. He deserves the respect of being put there. But R.I.P. CheesecakeLOL.
