Why does everyone care about everyone else's sexual preferences!?!
Every day, I see a pile of topics about homosexuality and hentai and porn!
Why does everyone care what other people get off on?
It's no one's buisiness, first off; and secondly, why would you wanna know?
It seems like I've been to cloned topics a hundered times! The starter asks what people think of gays or hentai, and then the useless posts just start flying in.
Can't we just drop it already? Ok, we get it!
Some people like hentai: BIG DEAL!
Some people are gay: BIG DEAL!
The guys who are for it are trying to be liberal and look good, and the guys against it are trying to look macho and cool. I think it's time we realize that there's no 'winning' argument.
It's all opinion, so I say we just leave it as that.
As I have said (so many times now): Whatever floats your boat.
The topics are annoying once you have seen them more than once...
Failgrounds.

But isn't every argument people's own opinions? Abortion arguments for instance, that will never end. But anyways, people should stop caring about others sexual preferences. Some people like Hentai, let them like it. I like little kids, and I always have people jumping my bones about it. Why can't they just leave me alone :(
I've been refurbished and reissued, prepackaged and precooked, decontaminated and deloused, but I still smell, sound, look and feel like shit.
New to the video game forums?
I think it has to do with the fact that the majority of our members are just now getting some testosterone, estrogen and progesterone in their systems. It makes them goofy. Honest questions are in their heads, and they seem to think that this is a great place to ask them.
I just try to answer as best I can, and hope for the best. :)
*claps* But u forget its the Internet, its probably the only place you can voice your opinion and not get burned at the stake.
Well to some users. Knowing one's sexual preference is a low way to gain leverage on someone.
"You like hentai? HAHAHA FREAK"
And so on.
It's because people LOVE to talk about what gets them off, and anything sexual, whether it be that they get a little excited after seeing someone with the same part as their own getting off, or whether it be like to watch tentacle rape.
It's just conversation, it shouldn't be taken too seriously, quite frankly.
I mean, most people offline, talk about sex, and sexual things. It's a popular thing to talk about...as for talking about homosexuality...it's much easier to be gay online than offline, because you don't have to worry about being judged in a way that puts your physical health in jeporady.
Understand?
Still a world famous superstar.
World War III: Internet Arguements between Bush and Forgien County Leaders turn into Nuclear Missile War. I can see it now........
Sexual preference is everyones own opinion, but I agree with Age they shouldn't rant about it. If you make endless threads based on your sexual preference only to provoke and confuse other NG users; It should be considered spam. The world is growing more tolerant of gays/lesbians right movements that they're basing the constitution on positive law more then natural law. Not everyone believes in God so the goverment works their way around it, to give people more credit - It is a democracy. But anyways-
Enough of the stupid threads. Your queer, your here. People might not like it, but they can't ban you if you don't do anything wrong. Your proud, we know but please keep your comments to yourself, if you know your going to enrage the other person - thank you.

I understand what your getting at, it's just that these threads never contain any convorsation. The starter asks: "what does everyone think of hentai"
And then it starts, people give there biased, illogical opinions with no supporting argument. (ie: you guys that like cartoons are sickos) Then someone gets mad and just flames them back.
It's not like these threads are rare either.
I'm just wondering why people like to start these 'flip-a-coin' arguments, where the responses are equal on both sides.
I don't understand the obsession we have with knowing other people's sexual preferences. That doesn't seem like something you would want to advertise, it's a pretty personal thing, and just leads to flaming.
Well its a big topic and people are always going to be posting about sex and homosexuality ect ect because those the most common topics so If I were you I would just accept the fact that its here to stay

It's when they have a point, though, that really gets you.

I don't know... I have seen many a good conversation with these topics; I, for one, love to get into the more philosophical points of one's decisions. It's nice to hear about why someone chooses the path they choose, what motivates them to like one thing over another.
But I agree with you; the illogical flaming is getting annoying. Most recently, however, I have noticed less topic starters say, "What do you guys think?" and more say, "I hate this crap!" which just starts a flame war. I think if we went back to the original "flip-a-coin" topics as you refer to them, we'd probably have better conversation. But that's as long as people were asked politely to defend their point (even if it is an opinion-- you have to still have a reason for voicing that opinion) and others explained their thoughts better.
I don't think it's the topics that are frustrating you, honestly. I believe it's the maturity of the "conversation" that's getting to you. If these topics were better argued by both sides instead of idiotic children flinging insults back and forth, I would gander to say that you'd be quite happy with the resulting discussion.
Count the bodies like sheep to the rhythm of the war drum...
The first post sums up all of the topic. Anyone who posts otherwise is being imature, and stupid.
Ever wonder if your mom kissed you goodnight after she gave your dad a blowjob? Well, you do now.
sexual preferance can have a very large impact on peoples behavior and life in general and effect their perception of situations and the decisions or choices they might make.

Also use of punctuation. Along with run-on sentences. Use a semicolon here and there.

Was this addressed to me? If you bothered to read it, I was talking about how I'm tired of people making a big deal about sexual preference. People should just let others be themselves without flaming them for it.
Get it now?

Ya, you know what; you're right. If people would be able to carry on a debate style discussion about these issues, I would be fine with it. It's just that any time the topic is brought up, it turns into name calling and ignorance of other people's opinions and emotions.
new people come everyday... i can't tell you how many music threads there have bee
