Hey is audio monetized on Newgrounds/can it be? Or is only Flash/Games/Animation monetized?

If it gets used in a flash or game then yes. Can also upload your audio to Bandcamp, itunes, beatport, etc etc and make money that way.

I think you can pay somebody for their music if you want to use it in games or animation but I can't be sure, I haven't messed with that kind of stuff.

If you're a good artist you can also earn from userpage ad displays, since people will visit your userpage to check more of your audio.

But to be honest musician is a bad paying job. It's easier to just be an internet asshole with kitsh style to make kids visit your userpage daily in search of more wisdom from you.

I don't think that's the case, because my song "The Techno Trio" has made $0.01, and it's not featured in any movie or game.

i think songs get ad impressions if they're front paged as well
