This is my first ever digital colored art piece, I am learning how to use PhotoShop etc.
What do you think about it? Any recommendation for further improvements (generally, not on this, this was just an experiment), any tips or/and useful pages/tutorials?

very good...better then my attempts...your colors and shading blend well...mine are very choppy....trying to get rid of lines...you learn a lot more that way....and for tips and tricks on digital drawing...check out ctrlpaint.com....the gray background could be removed and replaced with a gradient....the current gray background looks a little muddy.

Actually the gradient background is a very good idea! It is true...that gray background is not good at all.
