I've actually predicted against my own team for what will likely be the only time this season. I think it will be closer than the Superbowl (it had better be!), but nobody comes away from Seattle with a win. Excited to see where the team are at anyway.

Yeah yeah, I hadn't forgotten that result, but one defeat since 2010 at home (and that where the Cardinals had an awful lot more to play for than the Seahawks did at that point in the season)... I'm not about to back anyone to win in Seattle except the Seahawks, no matter how good they are. As it is I've not been convinced by the Broncos yet this season after two tight wins.

And this way if they win I'll be delighted, and if they lose that is one extra point on the predictor! Win win!

Thing is, the Seahawks at home are unstoppable (except for the Cardinals, but safe to say that was a fluke) and partly because of this, they generally tend to get away with a lot. Peyton Manning is and will always be a better quarterback than Russell Wilson, but given the crowd noise and environment, the playing field is essentially leveled. IIRC, Seattle will be playing in Cincinnati next year.

As of right now, (homer bias aside) I really do think that the Bengals are the best team top to bottom. We seem to forget that Andy Dalton is a good QB (regular season at least) and their defense as strong as ever, they are basically a Seattle expy in all but name and postseason record.
