So the lottery here is at 50 million dollars.. and in canada the earnings aren't taxed..
so what would you do with that amt of money?
Me I would simply put it all into savings and just spend the interest.. even at 1% interest that is 500,000 a month!

sorry I miscalculated that.. banks apply .1% interest.. so 50,000 a month.. still a lotta smackers..

Move into a new home.
Invest a lot more time in music.
Quit my current job.
Get a new car.
Save the rest for when I need it over time.
also hire a good lawyer to tell people to "fuck off"
probably where a lot of it would go sadly, people find out you won the lottery, they won't leave the fuck alone unless you stay anonymous

Realistically, I'd probably put 40mil in the bank and spend the other 10mil on dumb frivolities
Please disregard all of my pre-2013 posts. I was young and borderline retarded.

Find a nice flat or house. Buy some stupid shit. Then just sort of live out my life without having to worry about money. Might sound boring, but I'm quite the boring person.

-Give my parents $10,000,000 so they can retire early.
-Pay back the Albertan government four times the amount of welfare money they gave me.
-Put $20,000,000 in my retirement fund.
-Pay my sister to dress like a harem woman and dance for my Arab co-workers at one of my jobs.
-Pay off one of my friend's mortgage.
The rest I would try to make it last. I would still work though and keep saving money.

That's why the first thing I said was move into a new home and hopefully since I am still transitioning to female, idiots would have less reason to bother me, not to mention the money would help a lot with medications and surgeries over time.

1) Quit work
2) Pay off my mortgage
3) Buy a decent car
4) Invest in property in some of my favourite cities/locations (London/New York/Italian lakes for starters), and then rent them the majority of the year as a source of income, whilst using them myself for a few weeks a year.

- Leave $30mil aside, spread across different bank account to live off of the gained interest.
- Buy a place for $2mil tops
- Invest $7mil into properties
- Invest $5mil into shares
- Invest $2mil into kickstarting my own side-business (to keep me busy, fuck early retirement)
- $2mil goes to trustworthy family
- $2mil left for whatever else.

1. Give a portion of the money (approx $1-3 million each) to my immediate family, and a far lesser amount to close friends (if I had any).
2. Purchase a decent home, vehicle, and other amenities for upwards of $5 million in total.
3. Split remaining portion of money between multiple banks.
4. Put money into an RRSP, Tax-Free Savings Account, GIC's, and Bonds.
5. Live the rest of my life comfortably working on various new/old hobbies.

I would fund an African militia and take over a third world African country like Somalia or the CAR.
Then I would establish a dictatorship and use the rest of my money to build schools and stuff, so people will like me and not want to rebel.

Initially make sure it is safe, then go to America, then look to buy a house either in America or England and then have a nice life making sure not to overspend so that I wouldn't have to worry about money for the rest of my life.

I'd exchange it for pounds and then, if independence happens, exchange it for whatever Scottish currency we get if we go independent - unless we keep the pound which means that I'd keep it for when we're boned.

Probably just start spending it.. no one could spend even close to a small amount of that in a life time on general things.

most people who win 30 million are broke again in a year. You would be mistaken.
