I've never been to Belgium, so my only real experience with them is from the packaged and preserved foods that make it to our shores. From that I can conclude that Belgian Sweets and Beer are some of the best in the world. I've always thought that one of the best ways to judge a culture is by their food, so this is high praise from me.

I don't know much about Belgium other than the fact that Karl Marx moved there when he was pressured to leave Germany, I think.

So now Belgium is known for something not so great, specifically having highest per capita level among western European countries in terms of ISIS fighters. They're having a big trial against Islamist Extremists too. I never thought of Belgium as an Islamist hotspot, but I guess I was wrong.

Yes, a lot of youngsters went to Syria to fight for IS, doesn't mean we're crowded with extremist Muslims though.
