His paintings look like something my grandmother would buy to put just above the sofa.
I don't think he would turn into a famous artist, maybe a "replicas painter", but nothing more.
What if he became an evil dictator as a publicity stunt to promote his art.
Notice the error with the two windows in the bottom left though. From what I know, he was an alright painter but he seemed to have issues getting the perspective and angles right.

I guess...he had difficulties seeing things from others' perspective...
One criticism of Hitler's art was that despite his technical, they lacked any feeling or energy to them.
when he painted a building, it was just a building, there was nothing else going on, just a building. this was one reason he tried to wage a cultural war to change the art world after this rejection.

Clever, I like that.
If Hitler instead became a famous artist then someone else would have filled the role as Nazi leader anyway. It was going to happen. People think "Oh if I went back in time and killed Hitler before he rose to power, no WWII" ... Nope. Wrong.
It's kind of nice to think that maybe if his art teachers weren't so critical of his work, perhaps he wouldn't have become what he did, and maybe there wouldn't be a WWII but in reality if not him, someone else then.
People have this tendency to think kill the leader = end bad regime. Nope. Doesn't always work like that. They'll just pick someone else. It's rarely just one person holding all the power.

I guess the jews didn't appreciate Hitler's artstyle

But he was a famous painter. He was famous and painted. Also, he was an actor.

I was going to write something similar but there was no need.
Freikorps had already assassinated Rosa Luxembourg and Karl Liebknecht in 1919. During the Republic of Weimar, volkisch circles became quite a trend. Rich German industrials heavily funded the NSDAP as a way to fight back the popularity of communists... History is not a matter of a traumatised artist that hated Jews. He didn't shape a country's views all by himself. He was a product of a number of facts, processes and dynamics. Nazism was happening. Hitler was just the appropriate spokesman.
Then we wouldn't have discussions about him every 30 minutes.

You gotta be shitting me. Did he play in that movie :O
Or is he just talking in it. Either way, this made me curious.
Well true, he was a painter. But what if he wasnt a leader of germany and only decided to work hard on becoming a famous painter. Like Leonardo Da Vinci. That would be interesting to think about :)

If only he was actually good at taking art tests, then we would've have the Holocaust and World War II.
If Hitler was a famous artist, then 9/11 would've never happened.
I am hilarious and you will quote everything I say.

Wow. Was the angle errors the reason why he loved perfection so much?

If that was about the people who were historians, then I would get that but we barely talk about Hitler on the BBS.

I can't stop laughing.
The guy sure did love his scenery and architecture...
Once upon a time...
Even so his paintings of grand buildings and landscapes would never have gotten popular because Bauhaus and abstract art were becoming mainstream. If Hitler was admitted into art school and become a painter, he likely wouldn't have gone very far with it, and would likely have given up his painting to enter politics, and have a chance to use his artistic vision to shape Germany.

Even if he passed those initiation tests?
He would still start a holocaust, but only for people who give his art works a negative review. And frankly speaking, that would be a lot of people, considering Hitler was a failed artist.
Just chillin' like always.
