Backers: 334I don't think the people is interested in the 2nd Nexus. Sure that a lot of people (including me) back the project since early stage but it take more than just a few promises from the devs to convince people that this is happening. I personally don't believe they can make a MMO from 2 people (Swain's experience in Unity is a few months old). Almost impossible unless he hire other people to do it.

24 Days to go.
Not a bad pace. They already got in over a quarter of what they need, but they'll never make the $140G mark at this rate. If they keep raising nearly 18K every four days, they can still match the $100G mark, though. Lol, like that'll happen...
As for the $56k mark, yeah we're gonna make it. If an idiot could raise $40k for his potato salad, why can't we?
I agree, they'll definitely make the $56K mark, but I don't think people will take PN2 that seriously (most will probably write it off as a typical Madness game that just so happens to have 3D features, as opposed to a fully fleshed out, open world adventure game) with just a few modeling videos.
Not to mention people just aren't as interested in madness as they used to be. If this idea had come out in the heyday of madness where Krinkels was worshiped like a God, then it wouldn't even be a question of raising money. They probably would have raised more money than AIDs and cancer research combined, but now the fanbase has dwindled and most have remained loyal for nostalgic purposes.
Your point about Swain's experience (or lack thereof) is another valid concern, but he did say that if they raised enough money, MindChamber would join the crew. Personally, that does sound promising to me (though admittedly I'm unsure of MC's experience with Unity).
