disney take on venom?

well i have been watching the ultimate spiderman made by disney my opinion on that is its not bad but no where near the best spiderman ever made (dispite the title) and it breaks the 4th wall to much. its there take on venom that kinda erks me the most i understand that they were trying to reinvent him and im okay with that he is an older villein and hasent been updated much since his intro (at least in the cartoons).

but just having him be basically a further mutated blob of spideys blood thats just really stupid and even more unbealeavable then the alien thing and way less cool. not to mention he is intended to to be a weapon meant to make soldiers with spidys powers, but one of venoms major traits is it fights with the fury of a jilted lover which would make an army harder to control and less effective and according to the cartoon this was intentionally left in by doc oc when he made more. plus it is never explained truly why the venom symbiont makes everyone go ballistic its not sentiant in this cannon which takes a ton of power away from the character in my mind.

i know they tried to make symbiot soldiers in the comics to but they used venom's kids and it was only a small team not a whole army so the flaws above dident apply to much to them. i know venom had to be updated but some traits i wish theyed keep are. keeping the symbiants origen up to the point it combines with him seperate from spidys, having spidy later reject the the symbiant making it mad and the symbiant being a seperate entity from its host with its own wants and needs.

This is why Carnage should never appear outside of the comics, he's never done justice. I say, if you have Carnage, rate the show 15+ or leave him out of it.

I don't keep up with this stuff, but what exactly is the different between Venom and Carnage? Carnage just looks like a red Venom pretty much. Is it the same entity but just later on in the series? Is it a separate entity from Venom but just really similar?

Yeah see I just remember playing as Venom on one of those Marvel vs. Capcom arcade games and some kid gave me a lecture about how you shouldn't ever play as Venom because he's a bad guy and you should only play as Spiderman. Had to contain the internal lols. I mean you don't want to just laugh at some kid in public.

If I'm not mistaken, Carnage is obsessed with killing and pain (as opposed to the Venom suit which basically drives you berserk). The Carnage suit also allows the wearer to spin weapons out of their webs, but doesn't give the crazy physical enhancements the Venom suit does.

What DM said is right, I'll just add a bit too it. Basically, he's the offspring of Carnage and is addicted to killing, he is also way stronger than spiderman and venom, so strong that those two have to team up to beat him, and he is stronger because of how insane the host, Cletus Kasady, is.
TL;DR He's the stronger more maniacal offspring of Venom.

If we're dishing out Carnage info, then I might as well say carnage is in Cletus' bloodstream and was meant to replace Venom by issue 400 but Venom got too popular for marvel to allow it to happen

well i might as well add this tidbit about him while were at it the currant carnage symbiont is not the same one cletus had originally venom reabsorbed that one and cletus randomly found a similair one in the negitive zone. most likly from him becoming also to popular to just kill off
