So let's write this and submit it to the creepy pasta wiki and see what happens. i'll start you guys do the rest. K?
One of my college Professors told us that having a degree did not guarantee a job, i laughed it off at the time.
I graduated in the year of 2011 with my degree in Liberal Arts.
I was disillusioned when I entered the job market, I couldn't find any of the jobs I felt entitled to after 4 years in a university.
After a long period of unemployment, with a hefty student loan (along with credit card and other intimidating debt) hanging over my head, I was getting desperate for work. I found an opportunity for a steady paycheck, however meager and irrelevant to my education. I began working at the city dump, in the recycling center.
Not a lot of people know this, but what you throw out are sent through a processing center before they're buried in a landfill. The garbage crosses a series of conveyor belts where desperate and broken people sort all the recyclable material you carelessly tossed away.
Sometimes I found cash among the refuse, a $20 bill there, $1 here. I found a bottle of Vicodin that had a few pills left. The porn that fly by me I'd let be, some guys grabbed it but the idea of reusing pornography, knowing what was done with it... nope. All of this in between fishing out aluminum cans, cardboard, glass bottles, etc. out of a sea adult diapers and other such disgusting items.
The job was very taxing on my body, it was hot, smelly and dusty. I had to wear full safety gear, a hard hat, safety glasses, one of those bright yellow vests you see on crossing guards so the bulldozers would see me and hence not crush me.
I sweated constantly and the snot inside my nose turned black and hard. I came home exhausted, I always had to force myself to shower though. When the water hit my skin thick, filth darkened streams fell to my floor.
