Yes, I do miss the old design. But that doesn't mean this new one isn't bad.
Actually, it's better! Just the nostalgia of editing your profile with headers was kinda cool.

NG's one of the few places where redesigns actually serve a purpose and look somewhat better afterwards. Although I do feel somewhat nostalgic for the older styles now and again

I've always sort of associated Newgrounds with an orange color scheme. To me those look really gray, and it just doesn't seem like the same site.

Hey Tom,quick question.. Are you guys working on a mobile site version? like: m.newgrounds.com? And are you guys going to make an NG App for Apple & Android users? This way we can vote on the go,deposit and collect blam/saves? visit the forums and do other stuff via mobile app?

I love the old design but I really like the features of the new one. If there was an option to remove the wall art and change the color scheme, that would be great.
I just hate change in general. I talk shit about this design but I'm sure come the next redesign I'll reminisce about how great this one is.

prefer the current one compared to the desktop one. don't know if it's to do with image sizing but it seems smaller and more cluttered. mobile one's irrelevant for me as i turn off all mobile designs seeing how it's not 2009 and mobile browsers work nowadays

This is one of the big concerns, making it feel warmer while avoiding the brownness of the current layout.

We intend NG to adapt to a mobile screensize where everything is easy to read, usable and lightweight. When that is done, we can pretty much pop that same stuff into apps for different phones, and maintain a single layout that can span web and apps.

I really like the design but the saturation in the gradients could be toned down, I'm really thinking the color scheme of the previous design would be nicer to look at, there was something about the orange and yellow chrome contrasting against those bluish greys that visually stood well with the site. the simplicity of the new site layout looks great but from what's there now it feels a little like it lacks depth stylistically, there's something else but i can't really articulate it yet.

all in all I think it needs more orange :)

While it is nice to see a mobile version - the desktop version doesn't settle the problems we have with the current system. The classic portal style is not the only thing that made us love the old design - I think we should have a unified games/movies portal so that people can see everything instead of secluding us to just what we're looking for. This new design just looks like a re-coloured version of the current design - i'm not sold on it. I also consider orange the colour that represents newgrounds so I do think that it should feature at least a little bit more - to me it's the orange that creates the homely feel.

I was going to say something along the lines on innovation, embracing change, and how I've gotten used to the current design, but I'm not gonna lie. That screenshot kinda pulls me back. I enjoyed the brightness of it all, but in comparison, it is pretty basic compared to this.

Interesting change of pace. Indigo instead of grey is unexpected, but I could get used to it. I'm not a fan of cropping the user icons into circles, however.

Is there a way where the user could change the layout color scheme to their preference? So if they wanted it the classic dark grey, they could, if they wanted it orange or lime green, navy or whatever? Something only the individual user see's in color preference.
