Woah.

You don't know the circumstances as to why the cat ran away. Avery and family could very well have been keeping the cat inside getting him used to things only for the cat to be sneaky as cats are prone to and found a way out.

I don't think he needs you calling him names when I'm sure he and family blame themselves enough as it is. Wouldn't you after all? And how would it feel to hear someone give you shit for something you already blamed yourself for over and over?

Here's mine.

We had a couple of cats when we moved, and even though they did get used to the place, one of them kept running away back to where we used to live. The last time she ran away, she was gone for 6 years before she was found. Now she's back. :)
