These are games and movies that were published this week in NG history, starting with 2013 and going back to 2003. I don't have a good way to explore 2000-2002 but maybe that will arrive in 2015.
Scan both lists and share your favorites! If you're new, this is a great time to introduce yourself and tell us what brought you to NG.

You Only Live Once was really memorable as one of those indie artsy games because it actually had a sense of humor to go with its twist on gaming.
I also loved playing "The Classroom" series as a kid, but those games were always hard as Hell and full of trial and error.
Yeesh there were games getting 200k+ views as recent as 2012, how many users did we really lose in that time?

If they were released in 2012, they've had 2 years to accrue 200k views versus anything released in later years. Could also be less users or worse/less appealing content.
Alight in Dreams is one of the first games I played when I joined here. Time really did fly by.
My reason for joining NG was earning medals on a ninja game with gameplay similar to castle crasher. Forgot what it was called though >3>
I remember when I first joined. I was playing George bushes doing the cocaine lines. Aswell as newgrounds assassin and sack smash 2000 when Dan went by Synj... ahh those were the days penis everywhere in every newgrounds cartoon
I remember this one! It was in a pack with alot of flash games. Damn, I played this alot when I was kid, glad I found it right here on NG :) Gonna add in my 'childhood' playlist.

...uh, I wasn't expecting anyone to actually LISTEN to me. >_>
But hey! I absolutely love seeing more about the games, so thanks Tom! :D
Interesting selection. However, I wish there was a way to tell at glance whether or not a game has medal support. At this time, I need to visit each game's page to get that information and that's rather awkward.
but maybe that will arrive in 2015.
2015 is going to be one HELL of a year!! I want to make GAMES, GAMES, GAMES!!!!
I scrolled down the list and when i stopped scrolling i looked at the page and it was bending all weird.. Throwback Thursday is the best!
