Why do you have to have that dumb internal battery that always runs dry no matter what and you can never meet the berry master or any of that other stuff ever again.
R.I.P. Pokemon Emerald's internal battery

Open the cartridge and replace the battery. I think it uses a half volt. The disk batteries.
I am hilarious and you will quote everything I say.

The screws on the cartridge are strepped, I can't open it

Excuse my southernly choice of words. When a screw is strepped it means the inner grips for screwdrivers are worn down and screwdrivers won't catch the grips.
Meaning I can't open the cartridge.

I used a dremel to cut a deep sliver, therefore making a new grip to fit a - screwdriver. Git goood.

'Southernly'
i.e. incorrect
When a screw is stripped, try removing it with an Allen key and superglue.

Because Nintendo wanted to be an asshole to everyone who liked Generation 3 of Pokemon. The GBA doesn't have that problem with other games so it isn't your console's fault.

No, there's Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon. The rest are fluff.
And "internal battery?" Haha, weird! You know I'm playing a game that uses a battery to save events, it's called Final Fantasy 3 on the Super Nintendo. The game has only been out for 20 years and the save file works fine.
I think it's time to realize that these things are destined to happen.

I'm second gen, ofcourse I started with first gen until second gen came out
If you think about it second gen is really first gen, they just split the game into two "gens" to make more money

There's ways to remove a stripped screw, look it up.

It is only a matter of time before they make Evolutions of every type for eevee.
We already got the following
fire
water
electric
grass
ice
psychic
Dark
fairy
Eventually they will make other types as well.

Mabye, eevee types can only go so far, since it's based off a cat/fox thing.

I think they moved to a flash memory with Gen III since it's was on the GBA.

This guy knows where its at!
A pity I forgot how you get Umbreon, something to do with having to use or keep it or treat Eevee in a certain way so it naturally evolves into either Umbreon or Espeon. Would definitely need to check a guide before playing Crystal again to not screw that up. As Espeon is awesome and all, but no Umbreon.
