Like i'm so tired of all these dumb debates. Just allow it already. Its not the end of the world. Just allow it and after then one can visit space and give a care factor of zero of these dumb marriages. The world is full of vampires.

If you be more impatient, it'll make this debate even more slower.

Gay marriage is a thing that makes most Americans fiery and it would end like it's a war. I don't support gay marriage because I DON'T support the LGBT community at all. It's not a problem to me since I care about being heterosexual with no worry that gay people would make me support them.

Wow. You put in a reason why I shouldn't care about gay rights at all. Maybe I should know that I just misunderstood about the LGBT community all this time.

You don't have to support us at all. However, to say we shouldn't be allowed to get married to who makes us the happiest in life is pretty stupid.

Not that you have to support it, but why exactly do you not like the LGBT community again?

Well, alright, then.
Then don't support 'em.
Who cares?

I am not saying that homosexuals shouldn't be married. I am just saying that I don't support LGBT because it is not necessary for me to support them.

From several threads recently you seem to be highly defensive of claiming you don't support LGBT, does it really matter? What does gay marriage even have to do with LGBT? The only reason it ever gets involved is because people either start bitching at the community or if people are being assholes and denying it at which point they end up stepping in to point out such things are bullshit.
You can say you support gay marriage perfectly fine without needing to bring in the LGBT community to claim "BUT I DON'T SUPPORT THEM!" which is really starting to sound like you have some personal issue you are trying to deny with such constant statements.
Anyway...on to the actual thread. Marriage between different sexes and same sexes has no differences other than those people choose to make. There is no reason to deny it. All reasons people give are flawed and outdated. (eg. religion when it isn't a religious thing anymore and traditional values when the world has moved on from the shit it used to be)

............................I don't get it. And going back to my point again you have also brought up the notion of being an american patriot in the last thread also. Are you just a broken record that can't understand not bringing up pointless statements into every reply you make? Take this one for example, I couldn't give a single shit about if you are from America or not and are a patriot or not, so your response to me is absolutely fucking pointless.

And yet you complain about the LGBT community which is often known for the "I'm gay and proud of it" mindset? You are a hypocrite.

What really bothers me, is why homosexuals feel the need to change something so archaic as religion to have a "religious" marriage, when they can have a civil marriage.

probably because until 900 CE the church actually DID marry same sex couples - it was highlighted in a doctors article to a religious figure I read a long time ago - that apparently there was some big scandal between the pope and one of the cardinals and so he just got pissed off and banned gay marriage entirely.
also nowhere in the bible does it mention "homosexuals" - that is a word we invented - and the bible translations were altered to fit that. The catholic religion in all honesty has noting against homosexuals, but like anything people will misinterpret anything if it means they have a blank slate to hate and commit atrocities.
christianity is fust a fake twisted control dogma that rules through fear anyways. God doesn't give a shit, otherwise he wouldn't have made things it didn't wish to experience. Nothing can ever not be perfect.

Gay marriage of any kind is illegal in most places.
So gays can't just "have a civil marriage" in lieu of a religious marriage at all.
Even in the U.S.A., gay marriage is banned by state constitution in 25 states, and by state law in a further 5 states.
There are more than seventy countries in the world where it is illegal to be gay. What you think inside your own head towards another human is somehow a crime in certain places. Ridiculous.

Ehhh, you can't just throw such stuff around with the source "a doctors article to a religious figure I read a long time ago". If it's false, it falsely makes the Catholic church to look worst hypocrites than they already are. And that says a lot.
also nowhere in the bible does it mention "homosexuals" - that is a word we invented - and the bible translations were altered to fit that. The catholic religion in all honesty has noting against homosexuals, but like anything people will misinterpret anything if it means they have a blank slate to hate and commit atrocities.
After browsing through the internet too much and reading some stuff, I know how critical translation of texts is, whether they are religious or scientific. Yet, that proves nothing. I haven't read the original text of the bible and I doubt you either. A goodsource means a solid argument.
christianity is fust a fake twisted control dogma that rules through fear anyways. God doesn't give a shit, otherwise he wouldn't have made things it didn't wish to experience. Nothing can ever not be perfect.
And that's part of my argument. Some pro gay marriage people or homosexuals who want a christian marriage, proceed to say such stuff and then add "Would allowing us to marry hurt them so much?" or "It can't be worse than that". But the real question is: Why do you even want to be a part of this, if you hate it so much?
