Arcade room idea

So growing up as a kid I used to go to the arcades all the time, and now in the present day they have pretty much died out, and I have shed many tears because of this.

I was looking on ebay and I was surprised how cheap the cabinets are going for, especially for select cabinets I want.

It's not original or anything but with a little investment you could turn one of your rooms into a little arcade, I think that would be cool.

I only really liked certain cabinets like that.

But some other classics you would see at the arcade they're practically just giving them away.

I would really want to get the other things too, because I was always curious about the mechanics behind them, particularly games like the coin pusher.

You have to make it as amazing as ClassicGameRoom's intergalactic space arcade.

I wouldn't do it. They take up way too much space, pretty much need to be constantly plugged in and running (depending on how old they are), and if they break down servicing them is a pain in the ass. Plus, when you get mad you can't throw the controller.

I was actually (When i'm older of course) going to do something like this but also make it a retail store for video games.

However that's in the future, for now, i'm just a fat kid on Newgrounds.

Yeah I say go for it if you can afford it. I would love to have my own arcade. I haven't played in an arcade in years, actually I don't think I ever have. I've been to a chuck e cheese, but that's about as close I've come to an arcade.

I've always dreamed of owning a few arcade game cabinets when I get my own space. Don't know why, though.

Fun Fact: The house that Luis, Stamper, Spazkid, Psychicpebble, Oney, Shadman, and CosmicDeath live in has two really awesome working arcade machines in it.
