Im going to this waterslide park tomorrow, and there is this 1 slide I have been too afraid to go on. It's called the double dare drop. And what it is, they put you in this pod, you stand on this door that opens up, and you drop and go down the slide. Im scared shitless. I guess ill have to go whether I like it or not.

I've been in a drop pod once, it was in the dells at an outdoor water park in the wilderness territory resort. Not too scary, just do what they say: put your back to the slide, cross your arms & keep your legs closed. Now I've seen drop pods in other types of parks where they tie a cord around your ankles and you sort of just dangle in the air... Yeah, fuck that.

When I was at the dells years ago, I used to go on every water slide there.

I think the scariest but funnest one for me was the one where it was all pitch black, limited lighting, had insane loops, towards a turn there was a half pipe making it look light you were going to slide out. Ride lasted about 30 seconds, Most intense water slide I ever went on. Had to go on it 5 or 6 times (waited about 5 min or more though)... Worth it xD

I think that is why they didn't open it to the public, as people working their could deal with the problems as they would know how to behave and act to make it work and to free themselves if it stopped working.
