I have two MINDSTORMS robot sets, actually. I'm not really an engineering type, I like to build dioramas and scenes and such.

Cornwall? Hey, that's right near where @Conal lives!
5 million though. Someone should tell the Newquay Beachcombers to build statue replicas with the bricks.

Speaking of Lego things washing up, these strange giant Lego men wash up from time to time and I'm not sure anyone knows where they come from.
Just image search for giant lego man and you'll find a bunch. Based on the poor grammar I'd assume whoever made these didn't natively speak English. It's obvious the message means "I'm no more real than you are" but not really how a native English speaker would convey that.
Some have blue shirt. Some have green shirt. I think there might be a few other varieties too.

I live in Bristol, it's miles away. I may be moving to Cornwall within a year or so. Will there still be Lego in the sea?

Supposedly, they show up all along the west facing shorelines of Bristol Channel and the highest concentration is further out. But I don't see why they wouldn't show up as far in as Severin Beach. Even Gloucester during a storm?
The spill was in 1997, knocking 62 containers overboard and they're still showing up around south England. So, maybe?

If you aren't using Legos to make miniature machines and robots you're doing it wrong.
And if you use Legos to make gigantic functional robots you're pure awesome (and have way more Legos than I'll ever have).
This.
It was cars, planes, robots, and umm icecream flavor factory time all time when I was playing with legos.

I used to have Legos as does...everyone else in the world. I think I have probably gotten rid of them or at least given them to charity, at least I can't find anymore. I will gladly get back to making them if only because of that kickass Lego movie. Seriously, that is without a doubt the best film of the year.

Ice Cream Flavor Factory? Is that a LEGO set?

No, I'm just a total dork. I had this neon colored set and I would sit there sometimes putting certain colors in certain sections and then combining certain colors for all different flavors I came up with and I'd just make mountains of ice cream with it. I don't know why. I did some questionable things.
