Okay now when I say the best I mean the absolute best one for you that suits you and you just can't help but love it. I am talking about story,setting,characters,music everything. Which one you think is the best in every way (you know, the things i mentioned,etc.) Let's share our favourites and let's find out.

I love the anime "Hellsing."
It's insane action packed as fuck.
But recently I found an anime call Haganai that is way different that I really like as well.
It's one of those highschool animes so it's kinda nostalgic.

Okay,my favourite is Death Note. This is not only the only anime, but one of the few movies,TV series,anime, you name it,that made me want to watch the next episode like crazy and made me always being on the edge of my seat all the time. Everything in it is on the top . In my opinion,these series are maybe the best someone can get ever from an anime. If you haven't watched it, you know what to do.

If you mean series, then Paranoia Agent is personally my favorite Anime. I don't feel like going into detail right now, but I like how each episode, except for maybe the final 3, all stand alone as their own isolated stories and incidents that all end up connecting with one another. The characters aren't flat and all look distinct, which is a minor issue I find even in anime with cool concepts. It's a cool 13 episodes which I think works perfectly, the pacing feels nice and the stories are all interesting and often dark without feeling forced. It's good even down to the intro and outro themes, a lot of anime have poppy or emo sounding music which turns me off, but this one pulls off a great soundtrack. I'm just gushing now, but I recommend it.

When it comes to movies I point back to Satoshi Kon again. Paprika and Tokyo Godfathers are two good ones.

Then again, it actually was in fact surpassed in score by Death Note on the IMDb.
