Armed police are walking around in the cities and airports now. Yes, this is unusual in Norway. We recently had the 3 year anniversary for the Utøya massacre. But this time, the threat's coming from extremist Islamist groups.
I feel relatively safe though, since I live in a small village. They're probably gonna want to attack and kill a lot of people.

Abou a hundred Norwegian citizens with roots and connections to Syria went there to fight. It's likely that they have had military training there, as it is likely that they have taken lives. travelling to Syria to participate in the war, which has been in the news before. It is feared that they will become radicalized and will want to attack their homeland (not necessarily as in ethnic homeland, but they are citizens of Norway).

Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Stavanger... That's probably where the most officers are patrolling, but the police presence has increased all over the country, not just in the cities.

I didn't post a picture showing how powerful we are because I think it's ridiculous, I did it because I'm proud to live in a country that never has to worry about being conquered by another country ever.
