I can speak Dutch, French and English.

English, Vietnames, and I'm currently learning French in Highschool.

I tried to learn how to read, write, and speak Japanese, but I kinda gave up after I got halfway done with the hiragana. I'd like to try again someday, though.

It's good to know another languages with you to stalk those shady Swedes at the coffee shop...
... So that's was you.
I'm bilingual in English and Russian, and rather fluent in Sarcasm. There seems to be a lack of people of the latter as of late, unfortunately. Took a couple years of both French and Spanish, but remember little of it.
Trilingual. Spanish, English and Japanese. I was born speaking Spanish natively, as my parents only speak in Spanish, even now. I translate things for them sometimes, it sucks. I picked up Japanese because it was the language I was most interested in, and 2 semesters of a foreign language is required for transfer credits. Most lazy shits just pick Spanish, despite the fact everyone here speaks Spanish, but I saw no point in wasting my time on something I already knew.
I speak fluent Lithuanian and English. I also studied Irish and German in school but that only got me so far. I can speak and understand a bit of Russian as well as most of my family is Russian
these threads always have people claiming that they know a lot of languages even though they can't speak them even half fluently.
English and Filipino, man.
A little of terribly worded German, though.

Start with the hiragana, then the katakana, and THEN the Kanji. Gotta learn the basics first.
