In this episode, the character on the left shows a television host his fancy house and in his this scene he's in an elevator that has an installed whirlpool bath that activates when you're riding the elevator of his five-floor home.

Do you know the name of this character?

Wasn't that the episode of where it has the infamous toenail scene where Spongebob presses Squidward's toenail too hard. I think you can visualize that if you watched the episode. *shudders*
that toenail scene is the biggest what the fuck is television history

how they managed to get that on air is beyond me

it traumatized me, i can only begin to imagine how much it fucked up kids watching it

Why they wanted it on air is what bothers me. It's not funny, it doesn't serve any real purpose in furthering the characters' relationships or the plot of the episode/series; it's just random, gratuitous, disgusting imagery.

You guys act like it was a gore scene.
I just watched it, it's not that bad.
In fact it's fucking hilarious.

You're kidding me, right? Would you show that godawful toenail scene to a little kid no older than 5? What the hell is wrong with you? You think it's hilarious of seeing Spongebob torturing Squidward? Are you sadistic or something? There were a lot of fans that hated the freaking episode because of that godawful scene. Are you responsible for making Nickelodeon of what it's becoming ever since 2009 when they changed their logo? The one that aired Breadwinners, Sanjay And Craig and Fanboy And Chum Chum? Three of the most godawful cartoons that Nickelodeon has to air? Answer me now.

Calm down bro.
I don't even have cable so I can't watch stuff like that a lot.
It was meant to be funny.
It might be a bit harsh but still that's a type of humour.
I mean you don't see people complaining about "The Three Stooges."
I've seen them beat each other up and even poke them in the eyes.
It's called slapstick humour and it's popular still today.

I haven't seen much Ren & Stimpy, only parts of a couple episodes, but it seems like the stuff they showed was more humorous than gratuitously disgusting.

Yeah you haven't seen much Ren & Stimpy is all. You probably saw a rare tame episode or something. Majority of Ren & Stimpy was all about gratuitous disgusting imagery and that's not even including the banned episodes.

That's what happens when a show is ridiculously popular. They can put any disgusting shit in it and nobody will bat an eye.

I liked it but there are far worse ones.

I've only watched newer SpongeBob episodes from YouTube, but I thought Rodeo Daze, Original Fry Cook, and some other ones not worth mentioning were pretty awful. Even for little kids those ones were bad for them.

Everything they dish out is now terrible, man.

It's just awful.

Every time it comes on when I'm bored and watching TV I hope and pray that it's some of the old ones so I get a rush of nostalgia instead of a terrible trip.

I've grown out of Spongebob, anyway; so I've stopped caring about the newer episodes.
