As you all might know I have Russian nationality and live in Poland. Recent events have made me reconsider if I still can live there, or at least at this moment. I decided to take a little break, and since I decided to leave Poland I thought I could go through Ukraine and see what's really happening in there. I'm currently at hotel in Mezhova, town around 100 km from Donetsk. I've already been to the place of plane crash, it's heavily guarded by masked men and they don't allow to make photos. Even though I told them I'm russian they didn't let me take photos. I think they thought I might be a spy, but they told me If I'm really russian then they can allow me to enter their country.

Anyway, I fould a purse from Malaysian airlines. It contains basic cosmetics, like hand cream, a comb, little mirror and toothbrush with a little paste. It looks pretty darn exclusive.

I thought you might be interested in my little trip. I will try to visit the area of crash for few days, after that I'm moving to Russia for a month or three. If you have some questions or suggestions, post them here.

I'm too poor for plane traveling. And even if I wasn't, I should avoid flying due to health issues.

You can stick around the borders as long as you just stare. Items and bodies that fell out of the plane aren't exclusively on the guarded site. If I could I'd make some photos of the field where few big parts fell and where luggage is being stashed, but they just didn't let me. They told everyone to turn off and hide the phones or they're going to have to take them away and throw them to jail.

I'm not sure if it's either of them. looks too good in shape to have been through a fiery crash from 33,000 feet and i don't think they offer flights from poland to ukraine.

This is going to be an interesting thread. Picking through stuff that belonged to passengers that burned alive isn't too polite, but whatever makes a thread interesting! My brother and I will be flying to Ukraine in a few months as well. I'm from Lithuania though.
