I don't play either, but I have fond experiences playing siege mode on CoD with friends in splitscreen.
It probably wasn't siege at all idgaf.
both have their merits- CoD is very much an individual thing since assists don't count for much and it's possible to have a completely uncoordinated side do really well, hell i've seen games that are literally carried by a single player in all the modes.
Battlefield, on the other hand, is much more the team game- you don't even need to hit your opponent to get assists, and they count for a lot more in the long run, you get an assist in cod? pff whatever, you get an assist in bf? gg bro you're doing something vaguely right.

I mean, after all, the quality of games depend on the actions of the community it has, right?
It's only really hostile if you're new (in other words, a free-to-player), or you're a really annoying player (spamming ads in the chat, W+M1 pyro, etc.).

I love TF2 and it has the best fanbase and if you don't think it has the best fanbase then you are a stupid nerd scrub that needs to git gud.
