I have noticed several same people who Apperently very generous with the stars. So I checked their profiles and they gave like 1000 reviews 5 stars each time.

I think you should report these people to a review mod, I'm pretty sure it says somewhere in the rules that reviewing just to get a high review count is kinda bannable and could result in all their reviews being deleted.

Considering how many talented artists don't get attention here I don't suggest bans. However it would make sense to have minimum time to eliminate review grinding
Better than the 0-spammers I guess. Still kind of funny to see someone whose reviews are all unhelpful "This game/movie is the best!", "This game/movie sux", etc...
Especially when they've voted 5 on clearly broken material or voted 0 on material which had clear effort involved.
It's a weak trolling technique I think. Votes should more-or-less balance out over time though.

I haven't reviewed anything in a long time, but I do know that reviews are not the same as comments. I mean, it clearly said "This isn't a place for you to make smug jokes, post stupid nonsense, or act like a total jerk." In short - it means don't be a dick and don't be an asshole.
If reviewing, why don't people actually play the game for a while, maybe half-an-hour, to get a feel of the game and get a hand of the game mechanics. Or better yet, play the entire game if it has a beginning and an end, so you can review the storyline, at least until Tom and the team get an edit button there (They still haven't made an edit button for the BBS, for fucks sake!).

Is there like a minimum for how many characters your reviews can be? Cause I can imagine that if it were like 10 we wouldn't get a bunch of meaningless one word reviews that are only good for flagging and getting whistle points.

people who spam 5's are hurting flash artists that have a vision and are thrown under the bus by a group that submits something that isn't the popular thing.
people who spam 0's hurt flash artists who want to become greater than they currently are and are having trouble getting notoriety because of ill relations with a few select other artists who have a fanbase.
basically what i'm saying is have your own opinion above the crowd. don't buy into what another author tells you to think about someone they don't particularly like. sometimes give something a fair score because of what you objectively think it deserves or what it subjectively means to you.
this has been happening to my static flash because psychicpebbles fanbase immediately 0 and dislike something that they assume he doesn't like. its truly maddening.
