I already know the correct answer, and I'll reveal it later in the thread, but I wanna know what any of you think is the worst.
The criteria is that it must have at least 1 well known/ semi-well know actor somewhere in the cast, and it has to have been made by a film company of any size. Obviously a small independent film written by an inexperienced 20-something year old and acted out by people who failed acting school is gonna be terrible.

Battle for Terra. All other opinions are wrong. This movie is so awful that transcends the realm of preconceived notions about film and is somehow impossibly bad.
Take the plot from Avatar, but instead of incredible animation (which made Avatar watchable, even if the plot was horse shit) you get this clunky CGI that looks like it was made using software specialized for use in the in-car computer system found in a 2007 Toyota Corolla. The voice acting is almost as bad, with characters about as exciting as soggy fireworks. Overall, this movie is unquestionably the worst film ever made, period.

Probably one of the Land Before Time sequels. How many of those did they make and did they really need to keep churning out more? Didn't they get up to like 14 or something? Everything after that first movie was awful. Although I'm sure there's far worse movies than those but they were pretty bad.

I don't know. I'd rather be forced to watch any of those movies than random Land Before Time sequel number whatever. The first Land Before Time was a decent children's cartoon. That was the only decent one.

It's really bad that the trailer makes it look like a decent straight to video movie from the late '90s or early 2000s.

This sort of makes Cool world look like a masterpiece ,Really They've could have been more creative with how the characters interacted with each other much like Who Framed Roger rabbit since they've basically had all the Commercial mascots all together.

I was actually thinking of the clown. I mean Batman Begins atleast had some believable stuff. So i just recent this, even if so many like it.
I think Begins is in a way unique because it kinda shows the training, how he build stuff and all that. I just can be like.
I'm gonna buy into this, its kinda cool. I actually had ideas that batmans like superman are for kids in general. i bought this accidentally at a store and thought it was gonna suck, because its batman action hero thats probably for kids. And ended up liking it because it kinda showed some unique stuff in it which wasnt quite dumb.
The second was just.. no.. just no.
People will think i am joking but i just dont like Dark Knight.

You know what, I have to throw in "The One" to the list of really bad movies.
It's basically the highlander, except everyone is Jet Li.

I say it in every one of these kind of threads.
Tree of Life is the most insultingly boring movie I have ever had to sit through.
I could elaborate, but I seem to do that every time I answer the same question in the BBS, so I'm just going to say
*whisper whisper* lets watch grass grow.

It couldn't possibly be worse than Batman and Robin
I mean, come on, George Clooney playing batman as though he's that cool kid in the highschool play who's too cool to be in it?

Yep, here we go.
I mean, come on, George Clooney playing batman as though he's that cool kid in the highschool play who's too cool to be in it?
In the context of Tree of Life's plot, if George Clooney came out of nowhere at the PEAK of the film's conflict, which is after an incredibly uncomfortable scene where Matt Damon slaps around his wife and acts like an asshole around his kids (also known as the only adrenaline moment of the entire goddamned film that lasts for an hour too long), if THE CAMERA PANNED OVER to the corner of the kitchen right after this hyper-realistic traumatic shit went down, and there stood George Clooney in his Batman outfit from Batman and fucking Robin, LOOKED AT THE CAMERA breaking the fourth wall, and raised up some timid jazz hands to sarcastically say "What a revoltin' development this is." then TREE OF LIFE would actually be MEMORABLE and INTERESTING.
DONE. I just made up that scene, and that was way more entertaining than anything that ever happened in Tree of Life. Granted, I burst out laughing, I fuckin' CHOKED, when it established the hook in the beginning of the movie, setting up some kid's death and the mother is all distraught over the loss, and her whispery off-camera VO says "Let's start from the beginning" and it goes from 1965 to THE BIG BANG AND PRIMORDIAL SOUP AND, I SHIT YOU NOT, DINOSAURS...NOT EVEN RADICAL DINOSAURS, BUT BORING CG DINOSAURS...HOW DO YOU EVEN DO THAT.
The whole thing seemed like a pretentious, avante-gard film student EDITING assignment. Somebody got a badass HD camera, had some artsy-fartsy ideas about a dysfunctional family, the director has no idea what they're doing, barely anybody talks (which I'm okay with) and when they DO speak, it seems to be whispered and murmured (which I hate), and at no point did it make me fucking care. If it left an emotional impact, which it so desperately tried to do, RIGHT out the gate, then it would work, but it suuuuuuuuuuuucked.
At least Batman and Robin had a plot. It wasn't a very GOOD plot, but there are characters with motivations and conflict and something is at stake.

lost in space is like having your head shoved into a washing machine full of god-awful cgi marching in lockstep to the phantom menace, screenwriting that goes from being dull to insultingly stupid, and usually great actors like gary oldman and william hurt doing nothing to hide how utterly bored they are. i know there are worse 90's sci-fi blockbusters out there (planet of the apes remake, the postman) but this one even weirded me out when i was 7 years old and pissed me off when i was 14 and still remains the usual knee-jerk answer i give to what is the movie i hate the most
however i think ben and arthur is objectively the worst film ever made. i dare any of you to look up the plot, then look up the trailer if you masochistic enough. fails on every conceivable level and has no redeeming values whatsoever. it's absolute garbage from beginning to end with no excuse or right to exist and i hope that the careers of the people who made it never recovered because i can't bothered to check.

No wait, fuck that, at least Batman and Robin was FUN. It was STUPID fun... Tree of Life left me groaning in my seat, bored out of my mind, and shouting at my TV
"We get it."
"Get on with it."
and exasperated sighs
And laughter at bad direction or editing decisions...it was a different kind of schlock. It felt like a chore to watch.

Oddly specific imagery you went to, Gamechanger, but yes. Absolutely. An obese man wearing the bare minimum of clothes and not walking, but WADDLING, would be more entertaining and probably a more efficient use of your time than watching The Tree of Life.

The Toxic Avenger Part II. I watched the second one right after the first one so it was like I was given a delicious slice of pizza, and then the filmmakers poured diarrhea all over it.

I always had an aversion to the Toxic Avenger franchise because I heard they were so bad, but was the first one good? Is the awful "Part II" at least so bad it's unintentionally funny, or is it a cringe-fest?
