Speeding, and cops dont care

Seriously wtf. I see people going considerably over the speed limit every day I drive, and going any less than 10 mph over the speed limit (65 mph speed limit) feels too slow due to the rest of traffic doing that, or more. For that matter, doing less than 80 mph in the morning here is pointless, because there are very few cops around at the time, and when there is one they dont seem to give a fuck that pretty much everyone is going like 80 mph. Well, until some jackass goes REALLLY fast, and drives wrecklessly (like 100 mph), Is this normal, or are cops just lazy in my area?

Yeah, it's normal. In a lot of streets it seems like your only choices are to drive under the speed limit in the right lane (because of stupid fucks that don't know how to drive) or speed in the right lane.

All of my tickets have been from going 20+ over the speed limit.

Heh. Reminds me of when its barely even raining, and a lot of idiots start going like 15 or 20 mph under the speed limit. Needless to say, I end up passing a LOT of people on those days. Fortunately my commute usually involves an interstate highway, with 3 lanes in each direction which makes passing easy. Also fortunately most of the slow drivers stay out of the left lane, so I just use that. Though I do occasionally end up dealing with slow drivers in the left lane, which is annoying as hell since they are supposed to keep right.

...and then there's the fucking farm vehicles that go 20 mph at most in some of the 55 mph areas in the area. They nearly cause head on collisions from people trying to pass them not realizing there are cars coming in the other lane. Traffic... its a clusterfuck at times.
