by that I mean things like, drug problems, bad government infrastructure, etc.
The reasons I set out Norway as a target is because of;
-Less people
- cool time patterns, such as all night days and midnight suns. (I'm a night person)
- Extremely lovely viestas with rolling green hills
- Progressive government
etc. I can imagine myself listening to my favorite music while looking at the beautiful fjords in this country, but is it all that's cracked up to be?

I haven't really heard about anything like this. Worse I heard about Norway is a rise in petty crime.

Personally, I don't know first-hand, as I don't live in Norway, but from what I've heard, it's a great place to live in. Generally pretty safe and everything. Although pretty much all countries have good AND bad places to live within them. I have seen Norway in a number of lists regarding happiest people, highest average income, etc. On the contrary, it's also very expensive to live there, in part because of the enormous heating bills, I believe. I'm sure you could do much more research on the Internet, though. ;)

I've never been there
I have heard that things are expensive and the food is bland
I'd live there in the viking age but fnowadays it's all about the USA, baby
Norway always minds it's own business, seriously, no one ever talks about them
MEDIC!
norway has the highest living standards atm, but i think they have immigration limiting laws so good luck.
much better than America, at least. We have free healt-care too.

is it "free" or do you pay for it through taxes?
I'm pretty sure it takes fourteen years to become a citizen in Norway if you're a foreigner, and they don't like a lot of immigration there.
Just stay in the US.
If you really want to move out of the US (I'm assuming you live in the US), I recommend Canada.
Lots of room, no southern redneck fucking idiots, more freedom, and a better quality of life than the US. I'm going to try to move there once I get my civil engineering degree.
It's basically the US, but better.
Plus they have poutine up there.

they might not be "southern" but canada has no shortage of brainless rednecks gumming up the works and shoving their fat fingers in the way of progress

I've heard they live in the plains of Alberta Manitoba and Saskatchewan, but they're way more obnoxious and numerous in the US. We have way too many of them here.

From all the info I've gathered about Norway over the years, it's expensive and boring as fuck. And Norwegian people are very reserved.
On the other hand, it's one of the safest and most livable places in the entire world.

Which is why I don't want to move there really. Some areas seem nice, but based on the Canadian media I've seen, it seems to be going through a process of cultural decay and from what I've heard the Canadian government is heading towards the direction of the United States government in terms of internal problems and strife.
Also, paying for free healthcare through taxes is better than paying for a $30,000 operation. At least in my opinion.
It's an expensive place to live in but it's also easy to find a job there. Also it's a beautiful country.
