what should I do to not lose house? 2014-06-28 19:40:24 Reply

Ok, so we have around 5 years left to pay on this house, but we might lose due to the amount of money we owe (around 2500). I'm going to try to get a job not to far from here to help pay off the debt, but DHS isn't really helping us at all apart from food stamps and our car just got towed So we probably won't be able to do any jobs far away. Help?

The american way to do things is to pay loans with more loans

This is a certified terrible piece of advice

That's what got our family into this mess into the first place, my father had some bad habits (gambling) and payed them off with loans which got us into debt and he recently lost his job.

Shit, dude. I'm sorry to hear that.

Deal extremely large quantities of really, really hard drugs. Cash in a flash, bro

The above is also a certified piece of terrible advice

The only real advice I could give you is to work a lot & spend little, in a few months if you haven't spent much you should have the dough you need, but if other people can find work in the family as well this could be payed off much, much faster.

The problem is since our vehicle is towed it would be hard to find work that's too far off from where we live, especially considering this is just a county seat where there's not much work to begin with anyway.

Also your second suggestion isn't that bad. Considering how many people in my town alone get away with it. (though im not enough of a dickhead to sell hard filler-filled drugs)

I guess if there really aren't many options, and you or someone you know happens to have some old junk appliances lying around, you could maybe try taking them apart to scrap them for pieces. Iron plates, copper wires--anything you could sell off to some one who sells them else where (I think junk yards do this?). It may not make much, but hey, it's legal!

Yeah, that is a bit of a problem, but perhaps there could be an alternative solution to your problem that isn't immediately available or prevalent at this time. I know it's a bit of a cop out response, but I don't know everything about your living circumstances (Nor do I really need to know) and refuse to assume anything about them.

Not only that but it can be a pain in the ass to actually earn anything unless you have good connections to good suppliers (Either you'll have to share your profit or spend money on buying your own dealing supply), and even then it depends on the demand and value of the product, of course. Like any business you'll have to be smart about how you acquire, handle and distribute the product, and you want to make sure you're not wasting time by knowing what you're doing is actually earning you significant profit.

I've never dealt a thing in my life, however that's not to say I've seen some friends try only to fall flat on their faces. To be fair they took much safer risks in terms of dealing, thus didn't turn as much of a profit.

What do you mean? Iour house payment is around 300-500 dollars a month ( I think) and we owe around $2500, DHS is not being that responseful besides from food stamps even though we don't have an income.

Could always ask on /b/
It's a long shot but supposedly some people who asked /b/ have gotten money before. Then again it could all be bullshit.
You'll need proof of your situation and probably need to put up some tit pics though.

For one you could make a sacrifice and maybe stop using the internet in these trying times before you end up not having any internet at all, ever.

We don't have a bus system and I don't think there's a way we can instantly get 250$ + 500 for insurance.

and yes, there is literally no income.

Are you trying to be an A-hole? I'm losing it in 2 days anyway, along with our phone since it's connected through our internet. So not real outside communication.

Reduce your electricity, water, and internet use.
And sell some of the luxuries you don't need.

Or form/join an anarchist group and overthrow the gov't that put you in this situation. It's what all the cool kids are doing in these times of recession and perpetual economic decline.
