I'm Graduating!

High school, that is.

I have a strict schedule! 18:00 - 20:00 is the graduation, 20:00 - 24:00 is dedicated to crying, and 00:00 - 05:00 is a grad party..

Anyone else graduating recently? Taking that "FIRST BIG STEP IN YOUR CAREER ASDHAJFHA"?

since in the UK we don't "graduate" from high school, you just stop going there eventually, I can't empathise with you on how important the day is but I wish you all the best.

Congrats! I'm graduating aswell, but it's just getting our diploma. Not sure, but we probably don't even get to wear the cool graduation hats.

It's probably not that important. I really don't wanna go, wish I could just have them mail me my diploma..

We have quite a few photographers, as far as I know. One to take our picture as we line up, one to take our picture as we shake the principle's hand, one to take our picture at the back of the stage with out diploma, and one videotaping the entire thing.

That's great! Check what f-stop and ISO they're running. If they say anything above 100 ISO and an F-Stop more open than 8, see if you can get them replaced; because that's the best setup to run for afternoon outside events. I'm assuming this is outside, of course, but if it's inside, they should be running at least a 2.8 Fstop or wider. As long as they keep the ISO low.

Congrats OP. Be sure you've made up your mind with what you're planning on doing post-High School. Because you don't want to be all indecisive and then next thing you know it you're in your mid-30s working at a dead end job for minimum wage.
I'm making plans to (sometime during the summer or late fall) go and check out Community Colleges and get Gen. Ed stuff done and transfer to an actual college after I am 100% sure I decide I know what I wanna do.

Ugh, I remember graduation. I didn't feel like I "accomplished" anything so much as "get a giant, cumbersome burden off my back and shoulders". Now I have an even bigger and more cumbersome burden:

In all honesty it should be pretty neat regretfully I never got to have a positive high school experience ended up attending one of the most dangerous schools in the city final year though we did get a new building but the spirit of the negativity still existed. Holy. Crap. Graduated!

The ceremony was fine, and pretty streamlined~ I'm still ticked I didn't get offered to speak, but, y'know. The diplomas are very nice, and came in this little booklet-type thing...

Afterwards, grad party hosted by the school! There LOADS of prizes for raffle, all of them REALLY good (Go-pros, pre-paid credit cards, duck dynasty board games, headphones, a bicycle, a laptop, a george foreman grill, etc etc)! Everyone was expected a boring night locked in the school gym... Wow, we were wrong. They transformed the school into a 90's kid's paradise, with games and bouncy houses and.. And.. SQUEE.

The best part? It went from 10 PM to 5 AM.

Partied all night, now I'm back to tell you about it... And I think I might just take a nap.

Ahh I remember my grad night. They did a similar thing with my school and turned it into a Cartoon Network themed kind of deal. Walking down the halls I could hardly recognize my own school. Also the amount of candy and soda on the tables would've made even Pinkie Pie gasp in awe.

Glad you had a fun time at your graduation. Look forward to the maelstrom of stress, drama, anger, tears, and disillusionment that awaits you in colle- oh wait. That's right.
