Insecurity!??!

Have you ever felt insecure about something?????? Well the weirdest thing happened. One night I had a dream, since then I get really paranoid when I'm in front of a window or when Im shopping. I noticed that I have naturally kept my pocket knife in my pocket( cuz I guess thats where it goes) and at home I like keep my hand gun near by. OR I'll pretend to have a hurt leg or something and bring my crutches to answer the door encase I feel the need to like whack someone with 'em. This is really bugging me. Have you ever felt like that???
And the crazy thing is, is that I can't remember what the dream was bout' (well, not the whole thing at least) I know bits and pieces of it.

There are two sides to insecurity that don't get equal recognition.

The first is the most obvious: A person might feel insecure about some part of themselves because they just "aren't as good as" somebody else in that way, even though the bit of themselves in question actually causes no detriment to their wellbeing.

The second is often overlooked: A person might feel insecure about some part of themselves because that thing actually makes them less safe than the average person. They are literally "not secure". E.g., gays who unfortunately have to live in places with massive homophobia like Russia.

Did not expect you to have any sort of weapons, you probably shouldn't have the gun near you that much since you might shoot yourself or someone else.

Yes, i feel like that a lot, but with me it's the "i think my food has poison in it" paranoia.

I think ( im not 100% sure) it was about this weird contraption thing half person that was chasing my in like stores, schools, and on the streets. And I eventually got tired and felt like no matter how fast I tried to run I was running in place. Then at the end I think it was my dad who helped my find a secret hiding place, but the weird thingymabob still found me.
