It's ok. I know the feeling. Try talking to people on your friends list or check out content in the portals.
You get depressed because people on NG don't give you enough attention?
Are you a pussy or something?
We all have times when we want to be the star of the show.
I'm satisfied with the amount of attention I get.
Your opinions must be too normal and not bait-y enough.
Try observing the attention whores here and how much edginess their posts have.
We got lots of them.
It's a shame the chat no longer exists, as that was a nice way to takk to some users. What I would suggest would be getting some users you lkike on skype or similar and can chat on there.
When this post hits 88 mph, you're going to see some serious friendship.
Let's Player, Artist, Pony writer, Cuteness!
I kind of embrace my status as a 6 year and running NG wall-flower, even though it's nothing to be that proud of.
I felt ignored here a while ago~ Kinda why I stopped chatting. And now the chat itself is gone, so now it's just like.. "Meh, why bother coming here?"
would you wrather be not popular, but infamous, were virtually everyone wants you to gtfo and die but they cant ban you cause you dont break the rules lol, hell yeah that be awesome, just annoy the fuck out of the BBS and get away with it. Most people who try this art get banned though, the dork side of the force it is.
I'm on the Dork Side.
pretend you're a girl online, bam, lots of fans

so true. You don't even have to pretend well you'll still get like a million fans
We have a few skype chats up as alternates to the NG chat.

You know, you can be happy by talking to people on other social media websites. It can make you less lonely.
Post more, review more, create good content.
The end.
You won't be ignored anymore.
You have 205 fans and you're complaining >_<
And you can post your blogs to the front page, that will get them comments.
Have your blog displayed at the top of your userpage.
Ask questions. Be open to stimulate a conversation...there are a lot of +1 threads on the BBS, a lot of "Well the user will get in their input" and theres not a whole lot of discussion after that...situations that if we tried to start a conversation about it, it would seem real ham-fisted, y'know? Part of learning social skills is learning when to spot that, "the time and the place." ...and when you find that opening, you just dive in there and stir things up.
You'll get it. It can only come from practice.

I've never even heard of OP before so that means he doesn't exist.
I commented on your newspost.
I HOPE YOU LIKE IT BECAUSE I PUT ALOT OF EFFORT INTO IT

OP has 200 fans.
He feels ignored?
What.
Well, I guess no one is responding to his posts and such. But still 200 fans, that's quite a bit.

Attention should come naturally, not something to actively try to achieve; that's called "attention whoring".
The spotlight moves around, internet fame or popularity is usually a result of spontaneous chance. If you're not trying to raise awareness for a good cause or something relevant to people's interests, you're already motivated towards doing the wrong thing.
Be yourself. Either you get attention or you don't. You could elaborate on what sort of attention you want; it's more understandable if you want people to look at something you've worked on, but even that can be a bit egotistical.
It's better to say "I've helped a lot of people with this or that" than "I've successfully made a lot of people aware of myself". You don't need people to appreciate or notice you, you just need you appreciate your own self worth.
Another thing.
We can't all be famous, that's just what happens to lucky people. We can't all have luck. You shouldn't even desire luck too much, really. If people stopped trying to be better off (or more well known) than those around them, we'd all be less greedy.
We should stop trying to be the lucky ones and start helping the unlucky ones. The rich should give to the poor, the people in-between should shut the fuck up.
Sure is lucky he who has attention on a forum on a website.
Pretend not to care about anything, but be bothered by everything.
You may be fast on the roads but it's no use on the track.

I never understood the concept of wanting fame badly.
What good is it for if people don't understand or think about your work?
If I had to choose between obscurity but a tight-knit fanbase/circle of friends or popularity but a very distanced fanbase/circle of friends, I'd choose obscure any day.
You feel ignored because you wish to be noticed. As soon as you abandon that wish, the feel will disappear.

Interact. Talk to every user. Should you not bother them, disappoint them, appease their sexual desires, and/or become a great friend to them in time you will not feel being ignored. For instance WayneColt, NGHomie, and even Krinkels have been my friend after an entire decade. Although obviously not as much of a nerdy social staple as Stamper and Luis appear to be, I do not feel "ignored." Simply overlooked due to talent.
But little do the people of NG know, they would think the wiser as their ignorance is eternally bliss and questionably dogmatic in respecting their roots and their history.
