The slightest insensitive remark is punished so swiftly these days. A joke, or an accidental insult is met with an overly harsh consequence. And the rest of the world justifies it by forming an opinion about someone they don't fully understand. People are so full of shit. There are reasons why people become so crazy that they end up saying or doing something regrettable. And it's not being they are racism, homophobes, sexists, or whatever. This men and women being treated as equals is a joke. No two people in the world are treated with the same amount of respect, or courtesy. People aren't equals. Never mind race, sex, creed, sexual orientation, and all those complications. We don't even no how to correctly give respect where it is due, or give the benefit of the doubt to strangers. People in general are usually just shit bags to each other. They all want something without giving anything. And can you honestly blame people for becoming assholes? Every good thing they've done goes unacknowledged. Every mistake they've made is ruthlessly punished by those who think they "know better" and that is completely ridiculous. Our biggest judges are the biggest hypocrites. And then, as if all this wasn't confusing enough to cope with, you have to deal with liars, psychos, thieves, and end up formed rudimentary relationships with people.

Stereocrisis, it takes context. People tend to be pretty keen if they're joking, being sarcastic, specifically going over-the-top to MOCK the very idea of something offensive...and while I agree that there are some with no sense of humor, or they're too thick-skulled to pick up on that context, this woman in the video has the context of hate. Therefore, fuck her. Fuck anyone that takes that shit seriously....its 2014, we can do better, fuck racism.

Yeah I saw it a few days ago. We won't know the full story since the video was taken late, but this kind of racist stuff happens all the time. Only thing is, when it's a black person being racist to a white person, no one cares.
