I wonder what problem Libya has with us that they just won't let us fly over them to get to japan. They said that they are going to shoot at our planes if we pass their border. It's not like we're gonna drop bombs on them or anything. Uggghh!! This really pisses me off.

It's just another barbarian country, you can't reason with them.

Libya's almost all Sunni Muslims, U.S. supported the Jews rather than the Muslims regarding Palestine, Palestine contains Jerusalem, Jerusalem is one of their most important holy sites, thereyago. I'm sure there's a lot more to it and that their political instability after they wrecked Gaddafi's shit a short while ago plays a big part, but the whole Palestine thing has prompted bad blood for a long time.

Where the fuck do you live to where a flight to Japan involves going over Libya. Everywhere in North America goes over the Pacific to get there and everywhere in Europe goes over the Arctic and Russia.

Well, for starters:
* They don't have a country full of morons there, electing a government to dictate how everyone has to live their lives.
* Their crime rate is one of the lowest in the world.
* They are leading the world in technology innovations.
* They have one of the best schools and colleges in the world (even parents in the US move to Japan so they can raise their kids in their schools and colleges).
* Nicer and more educated people

ATM, I'd much rather live in Japan, than in the U.S.
