I think they're getting away with stupid shows like this because people are becoming jaded and used to being ill-informed. They know the television is a dying medium so they're going off while middle fingering the smart audience that shunned them for gadgets and computers.

Cosmos though is one of the last bastions. A few gems here and there. though.

I've noticed though, audiences back in the day (around 7 to 10 years ago, even longer) hated some seasons of their favorite TV shows, now, seeing as they've seen how the show could get even worse, they've universally accepted that the season they hated is now the show's golden age. It's as if they never expected things could get even lower. We've hit the bottom of the barrel, folks. It doesn't look too good.

I think the Discovery Channel should be called the Paranormal Channel if they don't have anything that is related to science.

I was surprised that Cosmos wasn't on something like the Discovery Channel, but Neil deGrasse Tyson is smart enough to distance himself from people who believe in gnomes. If only Seth Macfarlane could show how smart he is by working on that show by making a good movie and not "A Million Ways To Die In The West". BTW, that's considered to be worse than anything Trey Parker and Matt Stone worked on, hee hee.

At least Baseketball was better than A Million Ways To Die In The West. Trey Parker and Matt Stone are better movie people than Seth, in my opinion. Ted was the only good movie that Seth did anyway.
