What is it? And do you read it? Mine's the Star-Telegram and I actually like it quite a bit. The stories are extremely relevant to my life, making even the minor stories still some what important. Plus I like actually holding the paper itself, rather than reading online, no clicking, scrolling, glare, pop-up ads, hype or tasteless comments. And I got so sick of the online controversial crap begging for clicks, no seriously, fuck that Plane. Also its way easier to take with and read comfortably. For just a dollar, its worth the pick up sometimes.
That and the funny pages. They're quaint, charming, and a nice break from shock humor.
But sometimes I don't really like reading it in public, its just feels odd. Like people think I'm reading it ironically or some shit and that it would be impossible for me to actually, I dunno, find it interesting and enjoy it. Well screw those guys anyways.

I don't really read the news or anything like that anymore... It's mostly all just money-driven tabloid drama no matter which way you look at it.

Its worth a passing glance if its around, but I don't pay too much attention to it, honestly. Its a quiet little town, but if they're anything like Plano, TX, there's a possibility the police department are paying off local news sources from reporting on troublesome criminal activity...every once and a while, there's a scare of a drought, or a scare of mosquito season that comes with the handful of west nile virus cases....every once and a while there's a wreck, and it seems like all the time our highways are under construction and traffic is shit.
Its very same 'ol, same 'ol.

I hate flipping the pages of them.. Like, I always get really disorganized with a newspaper and it always becomes a giant mess for me, papers everywhere.. ugh, I don't get the layout at all.

My local paper is called "The Times". It's a pretty good paper. Everything is all divided nicely into different sections and whatnot. Theres some stuff thats pretty relevant to myself in there. And it's sorta cheap. It's 75 during weekdays and on the weekend it's $1. Every other paper I see for sale around here is usually around $2.

everything about ink rags is bad, I mean unless you like terrible smells, and ink all over your fingers
they don't even burn cleanly
why do you think papers are going out of business? It's not because the internet is more accessible, it's because newspapers aren't even fit to be jacket liner for a homeless fellow

Well the two major newspapers in Philadelphia are the Daily News and the Inquirer, but then we've got a few more that are targeted towards certain demos. Like there's one for black people called the Tribune, and there's one for people in the North East called the North East Times.
I get the North East Times every day and I don't even want it. The kid comes to my door asking for a buck and I don't answer, but it still shows up.

The Detroit Free Press isn't very good, but its selection of comics are pastime that they haven't screwed up.

Now come on, we all know only old people read newspapers. The only way print won't die is if scientists can find a way to make people immortal within about 10-15 years.
