Good Luck!!
Theme sounds awesome, cant wait to see what people come up with!
I like the theme! I'll give the obligatory post saying that if you need voice actors, then I can help!
If you're looking for a female voice, be sure to hit up codeblackhayate
Another awesome voice actor, who's just now starting, but is putting out some really high quality) is my good friend Stunkel!
Also, here's the final list of Open Round scores. If you're not on the list, it means that sadly your entry was not included in any judge's top 32 list.

I notice that visedgrub is listed as a participant and as a donor. As much as I hate to bring this up, isn't that a conflict of interests? :\

Well... he could have donated like 5 bucks. I was actually going to donate too.
I don't think it's an issue.

Participants in NATA have donated many times in the past - it's a sort of selfless way of giving back to the competition to encourage others and grow it as a whole. Donating has literally no effect on a person's performance in the contest, except for the "choose a theme" donation perk, and that person isn't participating.
@ KaggyVA - Done!

It's an ethics question.

Yeah, I wanted to both participate and donate this year, but was unable to do so. Just thought I'd ask, tho.
Ooh man, interesting but tough theme. This is gonna be hard. Also I'm in the same bracket Oye LKE, who is freaking incredible. Tough...
Alright! I already have my script written! And though I'm animating I'd be happy to voice for anyone who needs the help for their project! Good luck to everyone :3
Definitely putting a lot more effort into this one. Well, I hope that's how it turns out.
Thanks for the shutout Chongo!
For all people needing voice work, please be sure to indicate what you need! Instead of "I need a voice actor," something like "I need a female voice for a little girl character around 5/6 years old" is a lot more informative. Last round an animator asked me for voice work...but actually needed a male VA for the part.
Also, don't be afraid to PM/direct message the voice actors. Some of us are in different time zones, and might not see a request in the NATA Skype.
Good stuff, can't wait to see the next entries. If anyone wants an original music score for their entry, feel free to send me a message, I'd love to help.
Wow, I made it in!
I'll be sure to start early and try harder this time.
Here's a gif as proof.
Hopefully I'll get the chance to work with the talented voice actors on NG this time around.
65 points? That's not bad! Didn't think I'd end up so high in the list. Anyway, got a great idea for a new toon. It's a bit lengthy and might be too ambitious, but I'll definitely give it a shot.

Is there a way to forfeit and give your place to someone else? I don't believe I will be able to continue in the competition.. Some financial problems have come up in my personal life and I cannot ignore them. if there is anyway to give my spot to someone else I would love to since it would be a waste of a spot!

Congratulations to those who made it through! You all blew me away.
If anyone needs music for their animations, please consider me! I make a wide range of instrumental tracks. Here are some of my recent uploads.
an instrumental track with dark feels
just some jolly loop I made
a trap loop
A freestyle acoustic guitar sample
If you have something specific in mind, I can try to make it for you! Just contact me on Skype@>>> wimsayy

Hey, if anyone's available to do female voice work I could really use some help on that. I tried to do it myself but I just can't do lady voices. The character you'd be playing isn't very cartoony, she's a middle-aged woman interviewing for work as a historian and the dialogue's kind of dry. PM me if you can help out, I'd really appreciate it.

That should be fine. There was a 4-way tie for spot #37 in the contest, so I made an executive decision to choose SwedishPlumTrees. I sent them a PM, and they must reply / accept the spot if they want to be in! Otherwise I'll select the next person down on the list in a couple of days.

2 Weeks, 1 Day remaining!
