There is no one worst company today compared to the past, (LJN, Data East, Data Design Interactive) but if I had to name one now, it would be Deep Silver, who was responsible for them creating Ride to Hell: Retribution.

They also made Saints Row IV, Dead Island, Dead Island Riptide, STALKER Clear Sky, Sacred 2, Metro 2033, Metro Last Light, Risen 2 and Killer Is Dead. But yes, one game totally warrants the company being the worst.
Ubisoft are pretty terrible when it comes to their presentations, a whole lot of bullshit gameplay that will never look as good as what they show at E3 unfortunately.

Active Enterprise (right before the Video Game crash of 1983)
EA (after 2000, they went downhill drastically, just look at how they seem to think people will pay more for the DLC than the game to get the WHOLE game)
Nintendo (iffy on them, but I look down on them a good bit for going copyright claim crazy last year over pretty much anyone making Super Mario fan games)
Then there are the bootleg video game "companies", too many to list here.

I knew about SR4, and the Dead Island series, but I had no idea that Deep Silver made those games as well, I will take back that statement. LJN, and Data Design Interactive are still very horrible game companies, especially when it comes to the shovelware that they made for Nintendo.

Okay, I understand the LJN part a bit, but why Data East? They released quite a few good games over the years. Hell, even LJN released a few decent games.

One good game (or even a few) out of many doesn't easily change the negative perception of a game company. Just look at Crave Entertainment as an example. (I can't believe I've forgotten about them in this discussion) Even a dead clock is right twice a day, as the saying goes.

I don't know about Killer Is Dead but Deep Silver published those games, they didn't develop them.

Zynga in my opinion.
The way Zynga conducts work internally is stupidly bad. Having teams work on clone prototypes and deciding whether or not to publish them or trash them makes me say Zynga is my #1 choice for the most evil game company. That, and they manufacture games like they're digital cocaine. Highly addictive, built with a crutch to maximise the most profitability.

The worst video game company in my opinion would be Tiger Electronics. LJN made terrible games for the NES mostly and that is a fact. But eventually, Tiger made two of the worst video game consoles that ever existed in people's lives (game.com and R-Zone.) Not to mention that they made those lame and annoying games where the characters barely do anything in motion and while you have those printed backgrounds behind them. The only thing Tiger ever did that made them successful was the Furby that everyone had since the late 1990s.

EA redeemed itself, there aren't any 'WORST' companies anymore, but i'm pretty annoyed at Bungie right now, heard they laid off a bunch off employees because they got cocky. ;(

True but it is not entirely their fault the game ended up being a piece of shit. From TvTropes Superman 64 page...
"In an email interview with LPer ProtonJon, the producer of Superman 64 stated that the development of the game might have gone better... if Warner Bros. and DC comics hadn't intervened. Namely having have Superman go into a virtual world and limit his powers for "political reason." They also caused the game to be delayed six months because they had to change certain things for "political reasons". In the end the final product didn't even reflect 10% of what the developers wanted, not because of hardware limitations, but because of problems with licensors."
So, more or less, due to Warner Bros. and DC comics, the game ended up never being able to live up to what it was meant to be in the first place. Same thing happened with Sonic 06, but instead it was being pushed and rushed to get released by X-mas.

I've read about that company, apparently one of the worst companies in regards to the first and second generation games.

LJN is a video game publisher, not a development studio. So no that's not quite entirely a fact but I get what you're saying.

I know that. Mostly Rare made these games for LJN because they work for them, I guess. Atlus also worked for LJN when they made The Karate Kid adaptation.
