I am on an adventure to find the core of the internet.. Will you help me find it? I believe it could be the site omegle.. considering it is filled with horny male teenagers as far as the eye can see... Perhaps it could be the prophesied "weird part of youtube" that people talk about. Maybe it is the site rule 34 knowing it is the breeding grounds for porn everywhere... Maybe... It is the site Meatspin.com...

I don't know.. Tell me.. How far have you searched into the depths of the internet to the point you thought it was the core of all things strange but majestic at the same time...

I don't know what you mean by "core" of the internet, but, Reddit is probably your best bet for finding anything that's interesting. It's a massive site with >100 million monthly users posting links to a link aggregator and then voting up/down and posting comments which help each other understand those links.

Reddit, a user and algorithm based page listing with medium length article summaries. 100+ million.
Compare with Google, an algorithm based page listing with automatically generated summaries. 1+ billion.
And Wikipedia, an alphabetical page listing of user edited encyclopedia content linking outside sources. 450+ million.

Need to find something? Google it, read the Wikipedia about it, and find a Subreddit about it.

To access the deep web you have to have a program called "Tor." which is basically a browser for the deep web.

You can also use the deep web to hire hit men (I'm actually completely serious), and there are many things on the deep web which will scare the FUCK out of you, if you thought /b/ or any other website was bad.

It's interesting though because I usually use the deep web to access extra data that you wouldn't find anywhere else, which makes it a great tool for research.

The internet is like a glacier, with maybe only 5% of it being visible through conventional means, and 95% of it lying underneath.

The Tor browser does "mask" your IP by giving you an IP from places like France or Egypt, but I wouldn't take the risk.

you want to know the CORE of the internet? try this site. this is allegedly the oldest website still up and running since the early 90's; along with an introduction to what "world wide web" and other stuff actually comes from. while TOR can find things that google or your regular searches won't regularly find, you're just asking to find heroin in the corners of a New York subway station and hopefully not have the FBI watching that spot.
