Alright, I'm not here to knock someone for JO'in to cartoon porn, it's just not my thing. I can't be the only one who is tired of coming across well drawn, beautifully colored, technically proficient tentacles prodding anime chicks, so I was wondering, is there a way I can block this content from my view when I'm browsing the art portal? I don't want to knock off all the M rated stuff, because it isn't all like that, just the hardcore pornography and weird furry stuff that pops up from time to time. Any ideas, I'm ready to hear them.

Porn should be in the A rated section. If you want to avoid it, don't have it selected.

This seems like an overly simple answer, so just to be clear: do you have any examples of the problematic content when you're browsing the portal? It'd help if you could link them here (NSFW, obviously) so we can appreciate what you're not fond of, and how often they pop up in the portal.

Here is the piece that I ran into. I see the problem now: Although my browser is set to not show Adult Only content, this was listed as "M".

This is the only one I'm linking for now. I have nothing against people drawing or viewing these things if they want, but shouldn't these be marked accordingly? Mature to me means some violence or a sexualized pin-up style image. This is pornography, obviously. Just frustrating, but I see now it's an issue with artists not marking things properly (maybe less views in "A" rating? Who knows). I'm just tired of sitting next to wife browsing the portal and then there's a cartoon snatch illuminated on my screen. Thanks for the reply, though.

I didn't resolve that, but if this picture (NSFW) was originally M rated I'm glad you brought it up. I think people do inappropriately rate their own so that they can get more views, so explicit art like this gets M rated.

These things are normally flagged as Inappropriate, but I'd quite like to penalise people for doing this because it happens too often.

Thanks for responding to me and taking it seriously. I'll keep an eye out in the future for stuff like this now that I understand what was probably done and help try to police this sort of thing so spouses and significant others everywhere don't look at their partners in confusion and disappointment when they're just trying to browse some art.

Tick off the "A" in the rating thing (the ones that goes "E", "T", "M", and A) and that's it.

Nah the issue ended up being that it wasn't correctly marked. It's fixed now, but originally it was marked M. Devious!
