will vampires ever be cool again

vampires in movies took a hit with twilight a while back and they havent really recovered yet there considered lame now.
there was a passable vampire movie a while ago i think its name was fright night (i could be wrong) i also think there may have been a couple other passable ones that i cant remember right now but that i think they just kept things from getting worse.

well i was thinking they should take a page from zombie movies on making a come back when a crappy movie ruins there genre they play dead for a decade or 2 ta let every one forget the crap then rise again with new awesome ones at least untill a new crappy one ruins it again .

i think this strategy might be the only way to let vampires rise to the top of the monster movie world again as twilight did really hammer them in the balls.

vampires sparkling in the day indeed more like like turn into sparkling piles of crap with iqs at the level of...well i have yet not found any thing with an iq low enough to compare to a twilight character i was going to call them gay to but i dont want to insult any homosexuals by compairing them to twilight .

oh oh i like that carmilla is surprisingly under used in movies although there have been occasional times when she was paired with dracula and a couple times as a solo act with out really going into who she is. she is a largly un explored character as a vampire a sophisticated upper class woman who bathes in blood to preserve her youth. silver tonged and a bit seductress but not a love sick fool but also interesting in that she is deep down a cold hearted killer doing all she does to preserve her beauty the way vampires should be writen

They should make a t.v series about vampires in Los Angeles. The vampires have their own politics and gang/clan wars with each other and are struggling to survive and stay hidden in a society with advanced technology.

my plan in a nut shell . i just hope they get out of using vampires as heros and making them "just misunderstood tortured gentle souls" that really cheapens them so much the shows that do that are part of the reason that its taking vampires to get there cool back . when they did a good vampire in previos years it was either an outside force making them good like a curse or a torture chip or it was for a selfish reason like to gain power or revenge (a lesser of to evils shtick), but now its just they choose to be good or vampires are misunderstood due to the middle ages and were never evil bla bla bla (despite needing to eat us or rather our blood like fucking m and m's and by the way yes m and ms can be drunken if in a milk shake very taste)
