Since I'm a video game console collector, I want to find the worst video console ever made. The 2 that I am considering are the Virtual Boy and the Apple Pippin, but those are hard to get.
Anyway, what do you think is the worst console of all time (this includes ripoff consoles like the POPstation and the Wireless 60)

The WiWi that thing was a stupid ripoff, and all the games on it look terrible.

Honestly, even ignoring the abysmal Nintendo titles/reputation it has, this. The system was ugly as sin, the controller was less-than-pleasing, and it had probably the worst library in video game history. The 3DO had Gex, some quality PC ports, and even a few then-exclusive titles like Captain Quazar & D; the 32x had some ok platformers (namely Knuckles' Chaotix)/early 3D titles; the Sega-CD had some outright fantastic titles & a decent library overall considering it was an add-on (I think a lot of the flak it gets in general is undeserved & mostly stems from association with the 32x & the FMV games that were popular at the time). Hell, even the Virtual Boy had Wario Land & I guess a few other decent titles. What did the CD-I have? Nothing.

Turbo Graphics 16 and anything Sega did after Saturn.
Dreamcast had one good game, Phantasy Star Online.
I was a Nintendo kid, got the NES when I was a little bastard maybe a year after it came out cause my folks didn't want to spend brand new bucks on it. My brother is a loyal Nintendoian.
I don't really take it that far. I'm at impasse right now whether I want an XB1 or PS4 next year.
Anyway, this isn't the threads topic so I'll shut up now. :P

It didn't do either of that..
Why does everybody around here base their opinions on old video games based on what James Rolfe's fake persona says, he's not even relevant anymore.

That was only on every other system capable of FMV, and from what I've heard the CD-I port wasn't one of the better ones.

Many companies have tried to rip off Nintendo, but you can't beat the real thing.

Not to mention the name WiWi alone just sounds utterly bad, I can't even think of anything else that sounds as bad as WiWi other then Wii U.
Needless to say for people who even know what it means is more then enough for people who know what it means to simply gripe.

As far as ones I've played myself, the Virtual Boy.

Can't agree. The Wii may not have had as large a library as 360 or PS3, but it still had several good games. Combine that with the fact it played GC games, it was definitely a worthwhile purchase at the very least if you didn't have a Gamecube, or in my case, had a broken Gamecube and had a GC game collection just sitting there for years. I'm glad to have one. I just need to get a new remote because I lost one and the other is ruined. I look forward to getting back into Muramasa, Return to Dreamland, New Super Mario, and Twilight Princess because I never got to beat those, and picking up some other games like Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, Xenoblade Chronicles, and DKC Returns. Possibly also Tatsunoko VS Capcom, the Last Story, No More Heroes 1 and 2, Super Paper Mario and Sin and Punishment. Plus, playing SSBB, HOtD Overkill and HOtD 2 & 3 Return again. I never got tired of those.
Also, the DS and 3DS seem like great systems. I've played the DS a few times and it was fun. I was thinking I'd like to get a 3DS, but I think it's a big drawback that it doesn't have a GBA slot like the DS had. Why couldn't they make room for one?

On a personal level, I think the Xbox 360 is one of the worst consoles I have ever owned. Hardware issues up the ass, 90% of the online content hidden behind a pay-wall, mediocre controller, terrible 1st-party exclusives, shitty community. The only reason I bought a 360 in the first place was to snag Ninja Gaiden 2, since I thought it was gonna be an exclusive. But my 360 ended up being used by my cousin and younger brothers.
On an objective level, shit like the CD-i, Pippin, Memorex VIS, are bad consoles.

Atari Jaguar, Atari Jaguar CD, and Atari Lynx(Shittiest handheld ever made because the games were mostly trash on it). I can't think of one good game from Jaguar, Jaguar CD or Lynx. Atari really went downhill after the original Atari.

Xenoblade? Sin & Punishment? Tatsunoku vs Capcom? The Wii isn't exclusively first-party support & shovelware like everyone makes it out to be.

Toss-up between the Phillips CD-i and the Virtual Boy.
However I'd argue in favor of the CD-i being better because at least it gave us the joy of YouTube poop.

Another bad console is the Game.com, that thing was just horrible. But another REALLY bad one is the R Zone, that thing was a ripoff of the Virtual Boy out of all things, it's also really hard to use, and the games on it were horrible at best.

If neither of those... I could still see how eye strain might be possible.
Also, not "worst" of all time, but bootleg game systems of popular game systems tend to be pretty bad for obvious reasons.

House of the Dead 2 & 3 and Overkill, too. And Muramasa: the Demon Blade, dude. Such an awesome sidescrolling action game. Great addictive gameplay with GC controller support, beautiful visual style, and really good soundtrack to add to the atmosphere. I miss it. I Really gotta get a new remote so I can use my Wii again. And I think my cousin still has my copy of Metroid Prime 3.
