Do you prefer crushed or cubed ice in your drinks, or does it matter to you? I personally prefer crushed for sodas and cubed for juice.

crushed because you more room to put more of whatever you have to drink.
then again when you gave crushed it'll melt fast and cubed it'll last longer.

That depends. Straw, or no straw? I only like crushed ice when I have a straw, otherwise it impedes drinking. That being said, I prefer crushed. Cools down the drink much faster.

No ice in sodas. But between the two, cubed is better.

I use cubes for my iced tea.

Crushed, because it doesn't take up too much room in the cup. Plus, it'll melt faster, thus cooling my drink faster.

Ice is only good in water.

If I ever have ice in something I'm drinking it's cubed. I very rarely ever use ice in anything I drink, though.

I prefer my ice in 4" by 12" blocks.

It's just cold water, doesn't really concern me if frozen water is crushed or cubed

Cubed ice.

Most of the time I will finish my soda before the ice melts. Afterward, I can suck on what's left of the cubes.
With crushed ice, it melts too fast and waters down my drink. Not to mention I don't like when bits of crushed ice inadvertently get swallowed.

Cubed. Crushed is pretty much useless. I often enjoy being able to crunch ice in my teeth, but the only way I can really do that is to drink the drink first. And if it's crushed, it's a melted puddle that I've drank already. Pathetic.

Crushed ice melts faster because of the higher surface area, so if you like flavor in your drinks, but don't like to go overboard, then crushed ice is for you.

I like to freeze juice into cubes and then put the cubed juice in a different-flavored juice drink and drink it like that.

Otherwise I'll go with crushed.

Cubed ice is far superior. First of all, you don't get a shitload of ice in your mouth. Second, and most importantly, crushed ice melts way too quick, leaving the drink excessively watered down. I like to finish drinks before the ice fully melts.

I eat ice, so if I'm having a drink I'd probably want cubed so I can drink the drink. Especially in liquor, cubed ice is the only way to go there.

If I'm eating ice, I like crushed, cubed, shaved and ground. I like it all! Give me a Margaritaville machine and I'll just eat ice out of it all day.

I always really liked it crushed. When its cubed, it makes it like a blocky barrier between you and your drink. Crushed its like a zenny becoming one wiht the drink.

Crushed ice or no ice. Cubed ice just gets in the way.

Also how can you not finish your drink before the crushed ice melts? Drink it down. Easy. And there should be crushed ice remaining when you're done. It won't melt unless you take way too long to finish drinks. Solution? Stop taking so long. Gulp it down! Faster!

Whichever comes out of the dispenser first.
