There was some show - I swear it was on CITV - a bit like Goosebumps maybe that I caught when I was still quite young. I think I was still living in Belper (moved to Warwick in... 1996 I think?). Two kids were on a quest to get something. They were scared by crows, then by a witch that ate one of them in a strange animated sequence... when it went to live-action it was just a bad costume. Then there was this douche who had what they were looking for on the other end of a pool of slime?
I didn't watch it, but I think it gave me nightmares. Bizarre.

Do you mean Knightmare, or is there a show called Nightmare I'm unfamiliar with? That would be the most likely since I think it was British, but I don't remember it having the game show vibe and especially not the "'80s adventure video game" look it had.

I'll be amazed if I can scrape 50, it was really bad. I'm annoyed because it was kind of a gimme paper that was begging to be smashed for a 90 and I just couldn't do it.

Haha, yeah, yours looked like fun. I never read the front of the paper as I assume it's the same as previous years. I think I'll pay more attention in the future.
