Good luck on your exams everyone. Cheers.

It is today. That is not a problem.
I have maths in 6 days. I need a B in it to get into my university of choice. I have Biology in 16 days. I need a B in that too. I'm on track to getting both but I need to hope that I will be lucky.
Other than that I have a Japanese GCSE (because apparently we don't have a japanese exam in Scotland anymore) on the 14th, I have a physics exam at a grade that's useless in about 21 days then a computing exam at too high a level for universities to care about the day afterwards. After that it's freedom until the exam results arive. Then I find out if I have to leave my home town.

Sounds like we did the same A levels? I did biology, maths and computing as well. If so, wahey I guess!! What's the uni course you're aiming for?
I just have the 4 exams. First one on the 12th is a bastard because it's not a module with a set syllabus so could contain pretty much anything. After that it should be pretty smooth sailing as the next two we've been given lists, albeit long ones, of potential exam questions and the last exam is just my thing. It's my whole deal. I love that stuff, man.
Going by the prior experience this all suggests I will breeze through the first one unexpectedly and then splunk the last one on account of being complacent and not preparing enough.

I'm going for a computer games applications development course. The only reason I need biology for that is because it's the only higher other than maths that I'm doing. Higher being the Scottish equivalent of an A-level. That's why my advanced higher computing doesn't mean anything - they only accept highers.
Good luck at getting what you need! I'm not really sure how your exams work. I think that my experience is expected to be the similar to yours aswell. I should pass maths then get cocky for Biology. It's my lack of preparation for maths that I fear and then it's my cockyness for biology. That's how it's been all year so far.

I don't give a shit about exams. I treat them like any other test - just an assignment that I 1. Can't whip out my phone to Google the answers, 2. Can't use my textbook, 3. Can't talk to other classmates about, and 4. Have to do in one day.
So they don't exactly worry me, so long as I feel confident and I don't cram everything in a two-hour time slot at 3AM in the morning with only coffee and a hot plate on my desk to keep me awake (the hot plate basically prevents me from resting my head on the desk, so I stay awake! Wait... then I just sleep on the floor. Shoot, I need to solve that first.)

THE FLOOR IS LAVAE!
Anyway, I got an African American Studies exam coming up. Well, the due date is coming up--I've already been assigned it. It's a take home exam and my teacher is expecting me to walk back into class with it with like...seven pages written, probably. I also have a psychology exam sometime in the next week and a(n) (college) algebra exam that's due on the fifth, that I COULD do right now but will study for some more and then get started. My art class doesn't have an exam, and technically I was supposed to take my English exam today but my teacher said I could take it tomorrow.
Yep.

A-levels was more than years ago.
Took AL physics, pure mathematics and chemistry plus language subjects.
I have only to spend about 1 or 2 hours each day on revision to get decent results. Then I got admitted to university...
The university exams were easier in some sense because they were based on lecture noted and were mostly standard questions.
(even the PhD qualifying exams were fairly standard and did not require a lot of ingenuity to solve)
28/12/14 - the last day I made sense.

Yeah, you too. That sounds like a cool course, I'm sure you'll have plenty of company round here.
Our exams are each 2 hours, with 2 essay questions. Which is quite nice really because I think you get given a fair bit of credit for just being able to plan an essay and string sentences together coherently. Other than that you've just got to demonstrate knowledge of the module content and throw in a few examples and references. There are worse exams out there.

I love this time of year!
Exam period is great for people like me who are completely finished with school - you see all of the posts on forums and imgur from people freaking out about their upcoming tests, and I don't share in that misery anymore!
It's a small payback for all of the "woo 3 months summer vacation" posts that are just around the corner.

Not for me, I get the joy of the exams then 3 months to work on my dissertation.
YOU KNOW, NOW I'M MAD. THANKS FOR BRINGING IT UP. I THOUGHT WE WERE HOMIES, MAN. I THOUGHT WE WERE BUDS.
I am so bored of these exams. I usually study for exams, but now little do I care about them, since I have to focus in those subjects that actually interest me, Maths, Physics, Programming, in contrary to Ancient Greek, Literature, German, English, Chemy.
This summer is going to be shorter than any other and I doubt if it will feel like summer. 15 days maximum for holidays and the rest goes for revisions etc, getting prepared for the finals, which will more or less determine my future, what I will study, if I will study in a local university or in some other city away, and whether that university will be good or bad.
It's stressful so I don't wanna talk about it much.
10 years since A levels, 5 since my last University exam. My job now is to get other people through their exams, and I am more stressed about them now than I ever was as a kid.
