Pico Day is this Saturday and I'll post a link to a live stream from the NG office, where a bunch of NG people will be hanging out.
Mahjix has prepared this year's site skin for Pico Day. We decided to try something a little different this year, where instead of the usual cast of Pico, Tankmen, Dad 'n Me, etc., the site skin features a collection of women from NG's history (sorry, not from the hentai). Will you be able to name them all? We'll see who can on Pico Day!
For now, you can grab these standalone shots of Tank Girl and Nene and use them on your loading screen if you want to give some extra Pico Day flair to your game or movie. Totally optional.

This weekend is doubly exciting because Ludum Dare 29 is happening. Between Pico Day and Ludum Dare, the front page should be full of cool stuff next week!

about classic animations, i remember one amazing piece i saw the first time i found newgrounds 9 years ago - it was a creature running really fast in some kind of a forest with a sword and fighting a giant monster, the style was really colorful, fluid and awesome - it's one of the first things that really pushed me into making flash animations. does anyone remember what that could be?

I'll try my best to have something up for Pico Day. The animation I've been working on definitely isn't getting done any time soon, 'cause I've really underestimated how big it is. I don't think I'll wait until next Pico Day to submit it though. It was supposed to be for last Pico Day so it's already pretty outdated, so I'll just submit it when it's finally finished :3
No time to make a Pico animation. I might do a song or some art.

Wont be on NG on Saturday so I'll see if I can see anything on Friday if you do that. Are you going to be announcing when you're doing that? Or is it gonna be more or less out of nowhere?
