I believe that if the word ends with an "s" and has two or more syllables, it's more agreed upon that you just put the apostrophe at the end without the extra "s".
As for the topic at hand, I have always been on NG, always am on NG, and always will be on NG.

I've been here since the Dark ages, man, those days were nasty, that's why Newgrounds fitted so well back then. And yeah, Newgrounds was actually made by Tom Fulp the third, who was a king in Europe who liked flash movies too much. Flash needed quite a bit of updates at that time so that's why you don't see any flash movies that were uploaded before the 90s. The Tom Fulp heritage kept Newgrounds alive since then, just check the wiki, it's all there.
